02/12/17Hey people! I didn't do much today. I finished my homework, memorized the group piece. Watched stuff with my dad. Made cupcakes. I don't really want to go to school tomorrow but I'll be there anyway because I have rehearsal. I should sleep because sleep is good. Goodnight people!
02/13/17Hey people! Today was pretty long and boring. School was fine, I didn't have a lot to do. After school I hung out with Mara while we were waiting for rehearsal to start. I didn't get to finish all my homework, but it was fun to just hang out with her. I also worked with my friend on the group piece to help her memorize it. She has it mostly down, which is good since our competition is Wednesday. Talk about cutting it close. Well rehearsal was fun too. We worked on music which wasn't too hard or too overbearing. I am home now, and should probably go to sleep. Goodnight people!02/14/17Hey people! Happy Valentine's Day! Today was a rollercoaster of emotions, so I'll start from the beginning. During school was pretty good. I was happiest in Spanish. We had a Valentine's party. We somehow convinced our teacher to let us order pizza to the school and eat it during class. I brought cupcakes, and lots of other people brought deserts too, which meant only three of my cupcakes were eaten. I didn't mind much, except I now had to find a place for these cupcakes. Otherwise, I was very happy with my school day. In Theology we had a quiz but I also got rid a few more cupcakes. The quiz wasn't very hard. Then I went to poetry club for about twenty minutes. In those twenty minutes I found out our competition date was changed to Thursday instead of tomorrow. Since I have ACT prep, tutoring and Taekwondo I knew that I couldn't go. So I ended up having a mental breakdown in poetry club. I was very frustrated that after all my work to memorize the group piece I wasn't going to be able to perform it. I was the only one who had the piece memorized. And suddenly I couldn't go. Before I left I gave out more cupcakes. I eventually got myself together and went to ACT prep. The teacher didn't get very mad that I came in late. She just got me caught up on what we were doing. I still felt pretty shook up. I tried to focus on the class but it wasn't very easy. By the end I felt okay but I didn't feel great. I did get rid of more cupcakes. I got rid of most of them when three guys on the basketball came in and I offered them cupcakes. One of them took three. And I'm pretty sure he ate them all. I didn't mind much, but it was surprising. I went out to the hallway to hang out with Mara and tied to do homework. I didn't get much homework done. I basically ended up ranting. Until I got an email from my poetry coach/teacher. The email basically said that our competition date got moved to the 25th. I can't describe how happy I was to hear that. All of my tension had been released from my body. I responded immediately that I could go. Soon it was time for rehearsal.Rehearsal was pretty fun, and we got through everything we needed to get through, and more. And we got out early. I've been surprised at how many times we've gotten out early this year. Usually this doesn't happen. We usually get out late. Well once I got home I had one more surprise. A dress that I had ordered from HotTopic came in today. Since I wasn't sure how it fit, I tried it on. Happily I found out it fit perfectly. I am really happy that it fits and I like how it looks on me. I'm planning to wear it to my second poetry competition. Well as fun and stressful as today as been, I should go to bed. Goodnight people!02/15/17Hey people! Today was a bit less eventful. I had a late start so I did some of my homework in the morning. School was pretty normal which was good. I had a quiz in Spanish which I think I did well on but I'm never sure. I didn't have much homework. I also had time to do the ACT practice. Or at least part of it. After school I hung out with Mara. It was pretty fun, and we both got work done. We also got food at Jewel because Mara was hungry. She was kind enough to get me my favorite non chocolate candy/snack: sour patch kids. I love them so much. And once she had all she wanted of her soda, I got the rest. I was very satisfied with this. Today's rehearsal was choreography. It was tough. It was a lot. But somehow we finished an hour early. I was very surprised and happy. I did have to give my friend a ride home though. My dad was okay with it, but he also wanted to make sure this didn't become a habit since she lives kind of out of the way of our house. It was all good though since we got home just a bit after when I was supposed to get out. I would have liked to get home earlier but I didn't have much to do. But I should probably go to bed now since I'm pretty tired. Goodnight people!02/16/17Hey people! Today was pretty normal but it was eventful. School was good. Ashley has been sick and I saw her in the morning but she got sick again so she had to go home. I hope she feels better. Not much happened otherwise. After school I had ACT prep. Since it's math and science it wasn't too hard for me. We even got out ten minutes early. I caught an early bus and got home early. I had dinner and then headed out to tutor Vanessa. Sadly I forgot to check that I was tutoring her. She was sick so she couldn't meet up tonight. So I went to Taekwondo earlier. I worked on my form more. That was most of what I did. I also worked out a bit. It felt pretty nice to be back at Taekwondo after a week and a half. I think it's exactly what I needed after how stressful everything has been for me. I've been catching up on some stuff since I got home so I've used my time wisely I hope. But now I'm very tired so sleep is calling my name. Goodnight people!02/17/17Hey people! Today was my friend Skylar's birthday. She got to school late but I was still able to give her her present. I gave her a set of Dead Pool bracelets. She absolutely loved them and she put them on right away. I'm glad that she liked it especially since I wasn't sure how much she liked jewelry. Apparently she likes it a lot, or at least that's what she told me. I'll have to keep that in mind for next year. School itself was fine, I didn't have any tests or quizzes which was nice. I didn't finished my homework but I did work on my ACT prep book so I still got something done. After school I had poetry. Only half of the people in the group piece were there, meaning just me and my friend who is in drama with me too. We worked on staging which is pretty easy. We got through more than half of the piece too which means it won't take too long to get through it all. Or at least that's what I hope. We do need to practice it more though. I got a ride home from her so I got to meet her mom. Her mom is very self centered (which she has told me before) and she seemed manipulative too. My friend says that she's used to it and understands what her mom is doing, so I think she'll be fine. She seems to be since she spends as little time as possible with her mom.I haven't done much else today, even though I probably should have. Tomorrow I have Taekwondo in the morning and then I'm helping with an event there in the evening, so I should probably get some sleep. Goodnight people!02/18/17Hey people! Today was pretty good. I went to Taekwondo in the morning, which was pretty good. Android and I taught the first class which our instructor was very happy about. After that one other person showed up for black belt class. I decided to organize some papers that were up in front and I got through about half of them before I had to leave. Later today I went back to Taekwondo to help with an event called Parents' Night Out. Parents get to drop off their kids at Taekwondo and they do what they want for three hours and the kids get to play games, eat pizza, and watch movies. There were about twenty kids and there were two other helpers. One was the mom of one of the kids, and the other was someone who used to go to Taekwondo with me, but now was an intern here. I'll call him Jake. He was a lot taller than I remembered. He also used to have longer hair. I was glad to see him. We played games with the kids and eventually I was sent to get pizza. I was half glad to leave since that meant I didn't have to deal with those kids for awhile. On the other hand, I had to deal with an overfilled parking lot by the pizza place. I didn't hit anything and did technically park illegally but thee weren't any other spots. I got the pizza and headed back. When I got there the kids were being just as crazy. Soon we served the kids pizza and got them to sit down and watch a movie, but that didn't last very long either. We played some more dodgeball. The kids kept getting more and more rowdy so eventually we played a cool down game. It was my favorite game. It was a game called Ninja. I almost won, but in the end it didn't matter. Parents' Night Out was over. I talked to Jake for awhile before he left and helped clean up. I went home, and I haven't done much since I did. I did bring some extra pizza home though. I'll probably eat it tomorrow. I love pizza. Okay I'm digressing. I'll probably go to bed now. Goodnight people!
