I think I speak for everyone when I say that we can all get pretty crammed some times.

*cue serious head nods*

There are times when you need someone to hold your hand and tell you that you're going to be fine.

Someone to hold your heart in its place because you just can't find it in yourself to calm it down.

We're social beings. We need other human beings to survive.

We all need some help and kindness.

But we need to understand a fundamental difference.

Your best friend can soothe you with her/his words and pull you back up from your dark side but she/he can not set your situation right.

Only Allah can.

It's sad how much we forget this.

We turn to so many people when we're in need of help. Ask for so many advices. Take so many opinions.

And we get to Allah last.

Astagfirullah :'(

How lucky is the Mo'min or Mo'minah who receives the Lord of the Universe's Help! ❤

Allah's so Merciful that He's mentioned His 911 hotline route.

Patience and prayer.

Sabr and salah.

Probably two of the most taxing spiritual and physical things to achieve and perform.

But what's life without some challenge?

I mean we're talking about receiving Allah's help so yeah...

I've mentioned the types of patience in reflection #10 (The checklist part 1)

This post, I specifically want to focus on salah.

I have no words to explain this to you. My vocabulary fails me and so does my mind.

I'm only someone who takes tidbits from my tafsir lesson, translates it to English and tries to simplify it with my own words. The lessons I learn compel me to share it with you all. The Quran is just too beautiful to not be shared.

But here, I was stuck.

Alhumdulillah, by Allah's Grace I found this gem by NAK! ❤
