Alhumdulillah, half of this month is already gone. Oh why does time fly? :(
So I've successfully completed one goal of mine : This journal. I'm so glad I could make it, because I was really apprehensive if I'd be able to finish in time.
It's been possible because of the encouragement you guys have given me! The sheer amount of spirit that guys had, pushed me to upload regularly, something I'm not very good at :P
It is because of your personal goodness that you found time for these broken words of mine. It was a pleasure writing this, and I just pray that Allah gives us the strength to follow all the things we've read. Ameen!
So here's the thing. This journal is not just a one time thing for me. These fifteen values that I've mentioned, I seriously want to inculcate in myself in sha'Allah.
Like I always say, I am a work in progress, and still have a long long way to go.
So I intend to visit these, every fifteen days, not just inside but outside of Ramadan as well.
But I'm a reckless fool with a poor memory so I came up with this idea!
I've stuck these fifteen values on to my wardrobe and since it is something I open everyday, I can look at it every morning and remind myself to stick to that day's lesson.
Because this is how we get better. This is how we become perfect in sha'Allah.
Practice and revisit, because mankind is indeed weak, both in action and perseverance. We need constant reminders and pushes to help us get where we need to be.
Because we need to change and evolve. Being static is not nature's rule, and frankly it's boring.
We can do better, be better only if we want to. We need to take the first step, break the first sweat and only then will perfection be in our reach.
So stay on! I'm with you. We're all in this together :)
I'm attaching a picture of what I've stuck in my wardrobe. You can try it too, if you like!
P. S send me pictures if you've stuck them too!
