watashi wa Zara des..u
--------
I held my tongue at his comment. Even if I did retaliate, he would probably just punch me in the stomach or something.
"Okay." I told him, pulling my legs so they were off the bed. "But I still won't join, I'm sorry."
Kogami made what looked like a pout, but quickly wiped it off.
"That's my proof."
"What do you mean?'
"I'm no expert but I'd say you have pretty fast reflexes." He started, putting his dominator away.
I stayed silent. I couldn't deny that I had fast reflexes, I've dodged every single deathly shot from a dominator- otherwise I would be a crispy chicken nugget. Sitting back on the bed, I picked at the 'Zara' stitches and answered back.
"If I join... will you guys still be after me?" I whispered.
"I'm a latent criminal, you know." He replied with a hint of venom. "We just get taken care of by the Inspectors and we become Enforcers."
It wouldn't hurt to become an Enforcer I guess, at least people wouldn't be after me all the time.
I think you should join.
Huh? You're back?
You wouldn't be running away anymore! ;))
But I would be joining the enemy!
The real enemy's not them. -.-
You knew? About that?
It's obvious. I've been thinking about it for a while now, but 2000 is a really high number. You get stressed over the simplest of things and your Crime Coefficient skyrockets every day! Somebody has to be involved. 0-0
Alright. I still don't understand it though.
"I'll join." I broke the silence. Kogami snapped his head towards me and nodded. He opened the door to my cell with a flick of his wrist. I wondered how he managed to gain the access to do that, but then again he probably would've snapped somebodies neck to do it. Kogami's hand beckoned me, gesturing for us to go.
"Shouldn't I wait until my Crime Coefficient..." I hesitated. Even with Kogami and his skills, with this gown on anybody could think I was escaping. If that happened, no amount of skills could prepare Kogami for what he'd go through, not to mention me. It would be like a rugby match.
"You're under my protection now." Kogami ordered. Smiling at that thought, we walked out into the corridor and I followed Kogami as he walked away. The floor was cold against my feet, thin sheet of a gown giving no protection from the chilly open space.
"Where are we going?" I asked calmly.

"AHHHHHHHH!" I shrieked, diving onto the floor.
As I looked up, I could see another knife hurtling towards me. Not again not again this is dangerous very dangerous what sort of initiation is this! I quickly did a barrel roll and watched as the knife KABOOM'ed onto the floor beside me. ThAT WAS TOO CLOSE. Kogami stood with his arms crossed at the side.
"Speed is crucial if you want to be an Enforcer!" He shouted at me, completely unfazed by the knives being thrown. How is he so calm?! I'm about to be killed here! I looked up at him, only to hear another knife fly towards me. Still watching him, I held my hand up and caught the knife mid air. We all stared at my hand in awe, and I was thinking about how my hand didn't get sliced.
Cautiously I looked at my Crime Coefficient. Only 124.

My muscles were screaming in pain, and I was pretty close from screaming myself. Why is there a stamina test in this?
"Carry on! Stamina is important too in this!" Kogami shouted at me from the side. My body was itching from the borrowed training clothes, sweat trickling down my head for the first time in my life. It was like a hamster wheel... for humans! You had to run through every weather condition possible, including hail, which hurt! It was like somebody throwing rocks at my face, and I don't think anyone would enjoy that!
"ARE YOU HAVING A FUN TIME~?!" Somebody asked. I wearily turned around, trying not to trip in the snow. Kagari was waving at me sarcastically, leaning on Kogami's shoulder. I grinned at them both and watched as Kogami slapped Kagari's arm off his shoulder. Kagari tumbled to the floor and just lay there, kicking Kogami's leg. Is that what would happen if I entered the MWPSB? Would I get the chance to annoy Kogami? I'm definitely in.
While I was distracted by them, my foot caught in the snow and I fell face first into the cold powder. I heard everyone 'ooo' from the outside, but the hamster wheel of death didn't stop- it just kept going! Every time I tried to regain my balance by getting up, I would be slammed upside down onto the floor and tumbled back down. And all I could hear was Kagari laughing.
~TIME SKIP~
This was probably the most nerve wracking of all tests, it went against everything I'd learnt in my life.
A dominator lay in my trembling hands, pointing at an outline of a person. This felt unnatural. This was unnatural.
"Why do I need to do this?" I hesitated, bringing it down to look at Kogami and Kagari. As much as I hated it, I have to learn how to shoot stuff or else I couldn't become an Enforcer, according to Kogami.
"Handling a dominator is what an Enforcer's all about~!" Kagari jumped in. I nodded and brought it up to the target again. The dominator was a little resistant to letting me use it after doing a scan on who I was, but Kagari had authorised it so eventually it gave it. I nearly dropped it from how sweaty my hands were.
The sleek machine lit up with streaks of blue, a hologram before my eyes. Even if it was a practice dominator, it felt so real. I tried aiming towards the target, but my hands couldn't stop shaking. After a while, Kogami sighed.
"SHOOT." He surprised me. Almost on instinct, my hands stopped shaking and it whipped to the right place. Without hesitation, I pulled the trigger and watched as the blast hit the target in slow motion. Everything was silent as the smoke cleared. When it did, my mouth dropped.
A perfect head shot.
