Narrator's POV
The ball was circling around the rim while everyone stood and watched. No one could do anything but stare and watch. Some prayed that it went in , others hoped it went out. As the ball was about to go one way or the other, a certain boy with blue hair had a flash back.
*FLASHBACK*
Kuroko's POV
I was suddenly infront of the old basketball goal that our parents set up for us when we were little. I remember Misaki was trying to figure out how to do a layup. At this point in time we were both just starting to discover our love for basketball. I heard someone shouting my name. Misaki was yelling with excitement because she made it. The smile on her face could light up any room. That day we both learned something important. I can remember as clear as day. Our parents came to both of us and said
," Always do what you love and love what you do." For that day forward we both lived by this.
*FLASHBACK END*
Kuroko's POV
I was suddenly snapped back into reality when Misaki gave me a hug. Since she was much shorter than me , which is saying something, she only reached about my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and she looked up at me. The smile I saw on her face was identical to that of the on she had on her face all those years ago.
I just ruffled her hair and said
," Good Job." She smiled at me and turned to the rest of the team and said
,"LETS CELEBRATE!!!"
