In A Matter Of Seconds [Under Editing]

Chapter 4

"You don't believe he can run that fast, do you?" 

Cisco, Caitlin, Dr. Wells and Emely were standing by an RV they had taken to the middle of nowhere. Barry was in the RV, doing something that Emely didn't know. 

"I believe anything is possible and in a few minutes, maybe you will too." Cisco went over to the trailer door.

"How does it fit?" Barry came out of the RV.

Emely began to giggle uncontrollably. Barry came out in the most funniest outfit she had ever seen.

"You look damn fine, Mr. Allen." She giggled again as he blushed and rolled his eyes.

"It's a little snug." Emely wolf-whistled, making Barry blush even more.

"At least you'll be moving so fast that no one will see you." They went over to the starting position.

"You and Emely thought the world was slowing down, right?" Barry nodded.

"That wasn't it. You were moving too fast that it seemed like the world was slowing down." Emely widened her eyes.

"That was Barry?" Cisco nodded.

"Dr. Wells will be monitoring your output and Caitlin and Emely will be checking your vitals to see if everything is okay." Barry nodded.

"What will you be doing?" Cisco smiled

"I make the toys, man." Emely smiled and shook her head.

"This is a two-way head set. It has a camera that I modified designed to combat battlefield impulse noise. Or in your case, a potential sonic boom, which would be awesome." Cisco took off the helmet and walked away as Caitlin and Emely checked his vitals.

"What?" Barry looked away.

"Nothing. I just noticed you don't really smile a lot." Emely nodded. 

"Yeah, I've noticed that too." Caitlin looked at me. 

"My bio-engineering career is over, my boss is in a wheelchair, and the explosion that made Barry go into a coma killed my fiancé." Emely watched as Caitlin walked away. 

Emely felt bad for Caitlin. She lost the one person she was  going to spend the rest of her life with.

"How are you?" Emely turned to Barry.

"This is new to me." He nodded.

"I know. It's new to me too." 

"How are you feeling right now?" He shrugged.

"Nervous." She placed a hand on his arm.

"Barry, you'll be fine.I believe that can do this. This is really weird but I know that this'll be something great." He smiled down at her.

"Thank you, Emely. That makes me feel better." She smiled back.

"I'll always be here, Barry. When you woke up, I knew that you would play a big part of my life. Cisco, Caitlin and Dr. Wells will be there for you as well. You just need to believe that you could do this. That you can do this." He nodded.

She walked away from Barry and headed toward Caitlin.

"Hey Caitlin. Are you okay?" Caitlin nodded.

"Ronnie and I were supposed to be married. We were supposed to spend the rest of our lives together. Then the explosion happened, and I was left with nothing." Emely pulled the other woman into an embrace.

"It's okay Cailtin. You'll find someone else who's just like Ronnie. Maybe you'll marry someone just like him. You'll be happy someday, Caitlin." Caitlin smiled through her tears
