"Is it possible?" The short girl stared at the computer with disbelief
Caitlin shrugged. "I don't know. This has never happened before."
"What happened?" Emely turned to Barry
"You had a broken arm." He was confused.
"Had? Don't you mean have?"
The short brunette shook her head. "It healed in 3 hours."
Barry stared at her. "You're joking, right?"
Emely shook her head. "No, I'm not."
Emely grabbed a chair and sat in front of Barry.
"What happened? You were doing very well and then, suddenly, you lost concentration." Barry sighed
"When I was 11, my mother was murdered. I watched her die, Emely. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, I was outside. I ran back to the house to see my mom dead and my dad being arrested. I heard the noise from upstairs. My parents had tucked me into bed and I was asleep. I woke up and went downstairs to see a ball of lightning. Inside the lightning was a man. That man killed my mom. My dad is sitting in Iron Heights for murder he didn't even commit. Everyone I talked to, the cops, the shrinks, they all told me I was crazy. That what I saw was impossible. But what if the man who killed my mom was just like me?" The blue eyed girl grabbed Barry's hands and held them in my own.
"You're not a murderer, Barry Allen. I may have only met you days ago, but I can sense that you're not a bad guy. You're a good guy. A great guy. You don't have to compare yourself to a murderer. He may have been a speedster like you, but you're wonderful. You're an amazing guy from what I've seen so far." Barry's cheeks turned pink
"Thank you, Emely. That really means a lot to me." She smiled at him as he smiled back at me.
They sat there, in our own little world until someone coughed.
"Ahem." Emely looked at Cisco.
The short brunette rolled her eyes. "Yes, Cisco?"
"Can I talk to you?" Emely got up and walked toward Cisco who dragged her away from Barry's earshot.
"Barry totally likes you." The short girl shook her head
"Even if he did, he has Iris. I'm not the type of girl who makes guys cheat. That's not who I am. If Barry's happy, then I'm happy for him." Cisco looked at her with a sympathetic look
"Emely, Barry likes you. I can see it. I'm not lying. As for him and Iris, you have to talk to him about that." Emely sighed as she shook her head.
"Sometimes, people imagine things that aren't real. Like Barry liking me." Before Cisco could reply, Emely walked away from him.
"Emely, do you wanna get a coffee?" The short brunette shrugged
"Sure, why not?" She followed Barry who gave me a smile.
They walked took a taxi to Jitters and that's when Emely noticed Barry was holding her hand. It was soft, warm, and large. Barry didn't seem to realize he was holding her hand, as he was staring out the window.
They arrived at Jitters and Emely saw Eddie and Iris. Barry noticed them as well and they both saw the other two share a kiss between each other. Emely looked at Barry to see his crestfallen face and his eyes held heartbreak in them. Iris noticed they pair watching and her eyes widened a little bit. She started walking over to them. The blue eyed girl then thought about her assumption about the couple. She was right all along.
