"Time travel." were the first words out of Dr. Wells mouth after Barry had explained what was going on.

"If the last 5 months have proven anything, it's that anything can exist. But to actually travel through time?" Emely glanced at Dr. Wells.

"Well, the greatest minds in human history put their collective genius towards solving that puzzle."

"So is it possible?"

"Yes it's possible, but problematic." Emely tore her gaze from Dr. Wells to Barry

"I mean, assuming you could create the conditions necessary to take that journey, that journey would be fraught with potential pit falls. Novikov principle of self-consistency for example-"

"Wait, the what now?" Emely looked at Joe

"If you travel back in time to change something, then you end up being the casual factor of that event. Ooh, like Terminator." Joe nodded

"Ah."

"Or is it plastic? Is it mutable where by any changes to the continuum could create an alternate timeline?" Emely looked at Joe

"Back to the Future."

"Oh, I saw that one too."

""Doc Brown." Tremendous picture."

"Right. So what's the answer?" Dr. Wells looked at Emely

"I might be a clever guy, but if you're asking me to give you a theory on how to travel through time, I'm afraid I just can't do that."

"There is someone else you can talk to about this."

Later that night, Emely and Barry knocked on a door and waited.

"Mrs. Stein, we're sorry to bother you like this, but is Professor Stein here?"

"Well, after a year apart, I'm not letting him out of my sight. S.T.A.R Labs did quite a few tests on Martin, didn't they?" Emely nodded.

"Yes ma'am. Why is there something wrong?" Mrs. Stein sighed

"He just seems a little different, is all."

"Different how?"

"He's been asking for pizza. Martin despises pizza." Before Barry or Emely could respond, Professor Stein came toward the door.

"Is that the delivery man? Oh, Mr. Allen, Ms. Hart. I suppose it's too much to hope you moonlight as a pizza boy. I am famished." Barry nodded

"Okay." Barry sped away and brought a pizza box

"Bravo. Please, come in." Barry walked behind Professor Stein and Emely followed Barry.

"Mr. Allen, Ms. Hart, what can I do for you both?" Barry glanced at Emely

"We needed to talk to you about a paper you wrote about 25 years ago for the Oxford University Press?"

"I have written many papers for that publication. Could you be more specific?"

"Time travel." Professor Stein looked at her.

Professor Stein brought them to a blackboard which contained a lot of writing on it.

"These are just a few of the random thoughts I've had on the subject."

"A few?"

"See, I believe that space-time is a free-flowing highway that intersects the physical world. We live in the moments between the on and off ramps. Theoretically, to travel through time, one merely needs to find a way onto the highway." Emely shared a look with Barry
