In A Matter Of Seconds [Under Editing]

Chapter 59

Emely and Barry hugged each other as they cried. 

"Barry. She was beautiful. Really beautiful." Barry nodded 

Emely pressed her lips to his lips, tasting the saltiness of their tears. They hugged again before they were ready to go back to the present. They ended up crashing into Thawne's ship and they fell to the ground. 

"You could've had everything you've ever wanted!" 

"I already do." Barry winked and smiled at Emely before Thawne and Barry started to fight. 

Emely helped Cisco and Joe up as Ronnie and Caitlin went to quickly shut down the wormhole, which they did successfully. 

Thawne had Barry up against the wall, punching him like a punching bag. He took off Barry's mask and held up his hand. 

"Just so we're clear, I'm gunna kill you. Then I'm gunna kill Emely. Then after I kill the both of you, I'm going to kill them. And then I'm going to kill your father. I always win, Flash." 

There was a gunshot. Emely watched Barry fall to the ground, her first thought was that he had been shot. But then she saw Thawne stopped vibrating and turned around. She saw Eddie, gun in hand and blood on shirt.

"Eddie!" She rushed to her partner's side

"No, Eddie. Please don't die." She let tears fall as she knew she was gunna lose he partner. 

"What did you do? What did you do?"

"No such thing as a coincidence." 

Barry watched as Thawne's body began to shake. 

"What's happening?" 

"Cisco, help me." Emely turned to face Thawne. 

"Eddie's his ancestor. If Eddie dies, he'll never be born. He's being erased from existence." Thawne turned back into his original body and looked at Barry. 

"I've controlled your life for so long, Barry. How will you get along without me?" Thawne started to disappear until he was gone. 

Emely ran over to Barry and crouched down to him. 

"Bebz, you okay?" 

"Yeah." She pressed her lips to his as the ground started to shake. 

"Guys, that's not good." 

"Professor, I shut down the wormhole. What's happening?"

"I don't know. You did close it, but it seems to be reopening." Ronnie and Caitlin were the first to start to leave. 

"Iris, we have to go." 

"I'm not leaving him." They watched as the hole stared sucking in pieces of the accelerator. 

"We have to go now, honey. I'm sorry." Everyone headed outside, letting the hole suck in Eddie's body.

When they got outside, they all noticed a big, black hole sucking up everything. 

"So that's what we didn't want to happen."

"What's it doing?" 

"It's feeding. The singularity won't stop, not even until after the Earth is gone." Emely stared at the singularity. 

Everyone noticed a big hole in the sky, even Henry, who was in his cell reading. 

"I'm afraid the accretion disc has already assembled."

"What?" Emely turned to Joe

"Diffused material that's in orbital motion around the singularity." 

"What does that mean?"

"We have to disrupt the motion. Basically, it's like a tornado, only upside down. And bigger. And scarier."

"Barry, that event has an energy level of at least 6.7 terraelectron-volts. It cannot be stopped." Everyone looked at the hole that had begun to destroy the city. 

"I have to try." Barry turned to Emely and they gave each other a deep, passionate kiss. 

Which could be their last

"I love you, Emely Hart."

"And I love you, Bartholomew Allen."

"Forever." Emely nodded

"Forever." With one final kiss, Barry faced the singularity.

His eyes flickered with lightning and pretty soon he was off.

Henry stood over by the window in his cell and saw a red streak with bits of yellow lightning behind him, racing up at building that was being sucked up. 

"Oh no, Barry." 

Emely watched with tears in her eyes as her boyfriend, her love raced up the sides of buildings to get to the center of the singularity in a matter of seconds.
