Chapter 15: Dad?

"Ash get up, we have to go" Serena said shouting so Ash could wake up. Ash gave no response and continued snoring. Pikachu then came in the tent, already knowing what to do. Pikachu's cheeks began to erupt with sparks and releases a thunderbolt. It hit Ash causing him to jump in shock and get out of bed. "Alright, alright I'm up" Ash said. "Well atleast somethings haven't changed" Serena said sighing as well, "everyone is waiting so hurry up" Serena said and walked out of the tent.

After a few minutes Ash got his stuff ready and packed his tent away. He made his way to the group who were waiting for him at the reflection cave. "Jeez Ash, never knew I would wake up before you, I'm taking this as a compliment to myself " Gary said surprised at Ash and himself, to be honest. "Haha very funny, and by the way I have not had enough sleep so maybe that's why okay" Ash said defending himself. "Whatever" Gary replied. "Are you both done, because I want to go" Misty said annoyed. The two boys nodded and led their groups into the cave.

Kaylin grabbed Serena's hand for comfort as she was quite scared of her experience she had before in the cave. "I'm scared those bad people might come" Kaylin said holding Serena's hand. "It's okay sweetie, Ash and I as well as the others are here for you so don't panic" Serena said reassuring the little kid. "Okie dokie mommy" Kaylin said. Serena blushed when she said mommy realising it meant that Ash and her were married, unofficially.

Everyone else smiled at the scene but Tierno and Miette, who cringed their pants of at the scene. "I need to make my move fast" They both thought in their head. Miette walked over to Ash while Tierno walked over to Serena and Kaylin. "Hey Ash can I hold your hand, I'm kinda scared" Miette said. "Uh why you asking me all of a sudden" Ash replied. "Umm, I felt more worried here than before some um hehe yeah" Miette said unconvincingly. "Whatever, it's not that bad just keep calm and you'll be fine" Ash replied. Miette was furious inside as her attempt failed. "I need to try harder" She thought and continued walking with Shauna.

"Hey Serena, you seem a little worried" Tierno said. "Well, I've never been fond of caves before, so yes I am a bit nervous" Serena replied. "Oh well in that case would you like me to hold..." Tierno was cut off. "Mommy can we go to daddy, I want to talk to Pikachu and Greninja" Kaylin said dragging Serena to Ash, who was talking to his Pokémon. "My hand.." Tierno finished off his sentence to the air as he saw Serena reach Ash. "God dammit, I'll need more chances" Tierno said frustrated. He went to trevor and started to talk with him to get his mind of Serena for a bit.

"Hey Daddy! Can I hold Pikachu?" Kaylin pleaded. Pikachu instantly jumped out and into Kaylin's arms as she let go of Serena's hand. Ash and Serena giggled at the cuteness of Pikachu and Kaylin having fun. "Aren't they just cute" Serena said to Ash. "Yeah like you.. I mean yeah they are really cute" Ash said quickly hoping Serena wouldn't notice. Serena acted as if she did not notice but did and blushed, did he really say that!? Serena squealed in her head.

Suddenly a small explosion could be heard up ahead of the group causing them to halt.

"What was that" May said holding dawn in fear, as Dawn was doing the same.

"Oh don't worry it must be rocks falling" Tierno said. "I don't know what you heard but it sounded much louder than rocks" Misty said to Tierno who just shrugged. Ash stopped as he sensed something up ahead. This caused everyone else to stop in their tracks. Ash's eyes went blue. Everyone was surprised at what he was doing. Ash scanned the area and saw two bodies through the tunnel in front with two flying types.

"There are grunts through there" Ash said pointing at the opening in front of the group. "How do you know?" Paul asked. "I used x-ray vision" Ash replied making everyone's mouths drop. "I told you he was houdini" Gary said using the situation at his advantage. Everyone rolled their eyes at the comment knowing the stupidity that always comes out of Gary.
