~Karina's P.O.V.~
I sat in my livingroom,as I waited for my best friend to come. Grayson and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. He's always been my shoulder to cry,if I needed one. The same goes for him. We've always been the type of best friends to joke around,I mean what best friends don't, but the jokes we tell always turn sexual. I like those jokes, though. I've always had a physical attraction to Gray, but when we got to college, my attraction grew stronger. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the lusting idea of Grayson pinning me to a wall, and having his way with me.
I snap out of my thoughts, when I hear the door open. It's Grayson. He had grocery bags with him, most of them filled with various fruits. He comes to the livingroom, where I am and I stand up to face him.
"Hey, Kari." He says.
''Sup, Gray."
I hug him and he kisses my forhead. He pulls away and I look at his face. He looks upset about something. I can tell something is one his mind or he had a bad day.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"Nothing." He huffs.
"G,don't lie to me." I say.
"I'm no-" He stops mid sentence.
He studies my face, for a few seconds.
"You're beautiful. You know that?" He asks.
I smile. Hearing those words from him is doing me justice.
"Thanks." I say.
He walks to the kitchen to put away the groceries and I follow him. He puts the bags down on the counter, and starts to stack food items on many shelves.
I loved everything about him. The way he spoke, the way he lauged, the way he smiles. I love it all. I know he will never, ever feel the same way, but the idea was enough for me.
He finishes, what he's doing and his face goes back to its previous state. I hate seeing him like this.
"Grayson." I say.
"What?"
"What's the matter with you?" I ask.
"Fine, if you must know, I found out that i'm failing history." He says.
Gray takes his school work very seriously, so I wasn't the least bit surprised to learn why he's upset.
"I'm sorry, Gray." I say walking towards him.
"It's not your fault. It's mine for being so stupid." He says.
"You're not stupid. Is there anything I can do?" I ask.
He looks down at me, with the most serious face I've ever seen on another human being.
"You can give me some fruit juice." He says.
My eyes go wide. I know it seems like a normal phrase, but the way we used it meant something else. Something way more deep.
"Grayson,are you sure?" I ask.
He looks straight into my eyes. His eyes are darker, than what they were before.
"Yes." He simply says.
