~Ethan's P.O.V.~
Leila drives away,with Ollie in the backseat of her car. Seeing her brought back memories,it always does. I love Rebecca,but I just wonder what my life would be like if I hadn't cheated on Leila. It's too late for me now. She getting married to Nate and there's nothing I can do about that. I love to see her happy,but I hate seeing her happy with someone else. I messed up my chances with her and a life with my child. Ollie needs me to be there for him. I've lost it all now.
I walk back into my house,and see Grayson and Corine. I sit down next to Rebecca and wrap my arm around her shoulder. She leans in,but I just doeskin feel right. It never has. I want Leila to be here next to me. I want her to love me like she used to. I want her and Ollie to live with me,but I ruined that. I ruined my life,just because I wanted to see if the grass is greener on the other side.
"Babe, what's wrong?" Rebecca asks.
"Nothing." I say.
"You sure? You've been acting really weird,ever since Ollie left." She says.
"I said I'm fine." I say.
"Is this about Leila?" She asks.
I grab her arm and drag her into the kitchen. I put my hands over my face and pull at my hair a little.
"This isn't about Leila." I say.
"That's not true,because every time you see her you turn into a whole different person." She snaps.
We stand in the kitchen in silence.
"Do you still love her?" She asks.
"Of course. She's the mother of my child." I say.
"No. Do you want to get back with her,Ethan?" She asks.
"I don't know." I say,frustrated.
"Wow,even when I married to you I'm still the side chick." She says.
I'm really fed up with this whole conversation. She urged me to tell her how I'm feeling.
"Maybe that's all you are. You're just a side chick." I say.
She looks at me with the saddest face i've ever seen on her since we met.
"Rebecca,I didn't mean it like that." I say.
I try to pull her in for a hug,but she snatches her hand away from me.
"Figure out what you want. In the meantime,I'll be staying at a hotel." She says.
"Leila! Leila! I mean Rebecca come back." I say.
She continues walking. Man I really fucked up. I need to talk to Leila,even if she doesn't want to hear what I have to say. I need to hear her voice. I need to feel her presence,in someway. I need her.
I take my phone out of my pocket and dial her number. It rings a couple times,and she finally picks up.
"Hello?" She says.
"Hey,Leila. I need to talk to you." I say.
"What about?" She asks.
"Just meet me tonight." I say.
"I can't. I'm going out with Ollie and Nate." She says.
"Oh,okay." I say.
"How about Saturday? Is that good?" She asks.
"Sure. See you then."
