"How am I out of food again?" Liam asks in confusion as he looks through his cabinets for something to eat for breakfast.
"Zayn... Did you eat all my food again?" Liam asks with a joking air.
"I got hungry," Zayn shrugs as he walks up next to Liam and intertwines their fingers together. "but I can make breakfast for us again!!" Zayn suggests excitedly, beaming up at Liam.
"No!" Liam immediately declines. "Well... I mean... You probably shouldn't. You worked so hard yesterday... Don't want to tire you out, you know. Cooking two days in a row is really very hard," Liam tells him.
"Oh. Oh yeah. yeah. Good idea," Zayn agrees, glad Liam had told him. He had no idea cooking could be so dangerous.
"We'll just have cereal or something. I think there's some of that left," Liam suggests as he rests his hand on Zayn's shoulder.
"Zerial..." Zayn repeats, liking the sound of the word and how easy it was to say.
"Can I ask you something?" Liam asks.
"Yeah," Zayn accepts.
"I've noticed you pronounce your 's's very... Uniquely. What's up with that?" Liam finally asks.
"It's Zanglish," Zayn answers. "Well... At least what's left of it. It's kind of impossible to speak it on earth. Human vocal chords can't pronounce the words and it's kind of impossible for your ears to even hear," Zayn explains.
"I like it. It's very cool," Liam tells him as he sets two bowls down on the table then sits down.
Zayn climbs up on the table and sits cross legged and picks up the bowl to start eating.
"Must you really sit on the table?" Liam asks, looking up at Zayn with an unimpressed frown.
"Must you really sit on that?" Zayn asks with a slightly mocking tone.
"Yes because that's what most civilized people do. We sit on chairs," Liam mutters. Zayn shrugs and keeps eating.
"So, Ive been thinking about last night a little bit," Liam starts. Zayn stares at him with curious eyes and open ears.
"And... I was wondering if you were really serious about what you said. About those feelings for me," Liam adds.
"Of course! I would never lie!" Zayn says earnestly then frowns as he realizes that that statement was even a lie.
"Good. Cuz I've been thinking a little bit and... Well.. This is really different for me and I probably wouldn't usually do this... And I'm not really sure if it's right or anything But for a while now I've really... I've been wondering if... I want to know if you would like to be my boyfriend," Liam finally forces himself to say.
     "Yeah. I can be your friend," Zayn says happily.
   "No.. Not like that..." Liam says with a slight laugh. Zayn looks at him in confusion.
    "Like... A boyfriend and we can go out," Liam clarifies.
Zayn smiles his adorable, Crooked smile and stares at Liam.
"You have no clue what that means, do you...?" Liam guesses.
"Not at all," Zayn admits. Liam laughs and runs his fingers through his messy tangled hair.
"It's like dating," Liam explains but sees Zayn just looked even more clueless. "It's a more intimate relationship Where 2 people love each other and they want to be together, and so they'll date and they do things together and get to know each other and just... Date because they want to be together for ever... Or even for just a little bit of time," Liam explains. Zayn nods, deep in thought.
"Yeah I like the zound of that," he tells Liam.
"So... Would you like to date me then?" Liam asks more confidently this time.
"Zure," Zayn agrees with a happy smile.
"cool," Liam says also with a happy grin.
"Zo..... What now?" Zayn wonders as he glances around the room, waiting for something to happen.
"I don't know," Liam shrugs.
"I don't feel any different," Zayn shares in confusion. Liam laughs because he had no idea what to do now either.
"Zo... What's the point of dating if nothing happens?" Zayn wonders curiously.
Liam sighs and sits deep in thought. He knew he would have a lot of explaining to do.
