Yep... I tried pixel arting it XD The character that I am basing this off of is the girl that appears in IW's current cover. I'll give myself a solid 4.2/10. This is why I don't do this sort of art people! :P
Serious Wall
Ugh... Creative energy, why do you go where you do?! I've been really lacking in writing energy the past few days. Funny, because I have the ideas and stuff, just not the ways or energy to put them into words. However, I am never really lacking in creativity, so where is it all going?!
Welp, that would be programming! XD It seems that I really want to program some sort of video game, but am not sure exactly what. I know from experience that I need to purge this need to program video games ASAP before it further drains my will to write. Otherwise it's a huge problem because I need to be writing more than a chapter a day to satisfy my goals, and with work I often don't have the time to do that anyways O_o
After testing the opinions of a few normal people, I think programming in colored character graphics (as in like having '8's being people and having '#'s be fences) in a 2D world seems to be the way to go. I am really inspired by Undertale (hence the intro and conclusion), and want to make something goofy yet thoughtful, and completely easter egg filled, but I'm stuck at the biggest point: the core game mechanics.
Undertale has dodging bullets, Pokemon has selecting creatures' moves, and Minecraft has mining and placing blocks. These are all very important core game mechanics, and I don't want to do any of them. The question is what to do, and the answer is that I don't have that slightest clue ;w; If I can figure that out then I'm golden, buuuuut I doubt that I'll come up with something.
