Connie paced around the end of the bedroom silently, her dressing gown falling open. Running a hand through her hair before she bent down she checked through the bags that were packed beside the wall once again.

God knows how many times she had checked them but she needed everything to be perfect. This time tomorrow she'd be sleeping alone, then the following day she would be laying in bed with Jacob as her husband. She couldn't help but smile as she looked at her final things left at the house.

Most of her stuff was already at the hotel as she had wanted everything out of Jacob's way. He'd been trying ever since she'd bought the dress to get a glimpse at it but she refused, much to his dismay.

Right on cue, Mia began to whimper from her room. Jacob stirred instantly hearing his daughters cries. Connie spun around walking to the bed where he was beginning to sit up. "I've got this, sleep." She kissed him gently before walking out the room to her daughter.

"Hey gorgeous, what're you doing awake huh?" Mia settled immediately in her mothers arms as Connie wandered about with her. Rather than lay her back down straight away Connie stepped through to the bedroom with her having seen a small light on in there now.

Jacob sat awake waiting for her to come back, smiling when he saw her with Mia. "She alright-" "Yeah, just didn't trust putting her down straight away." He nodded as she came over to the bed. "Come here..." Connie knelt on the bed as Jacob held his hands out to steady her until she was sat between his legs leaning into his chest.

He placed his lips to her neck kissing down to her shoulder. Rolling her head back she slipped down until she was comfortable. Jacob looked down at his daughter over her shoulder sighing. "God she's looking more and more like you everyday sweet cheeks-" "That a bad thing muscles?" "Mmm... She's gonna break some hearts."

Connie tilted her head sideways with a smirk before Jacob's lips pressed to hers. "I love you-" "We love you too, don't we baby?" Mia's eyes were open again having heard Jacob's voice. He reached a hand round for her to grasp as Connie held her close.

She was comfortable in his firm hold as she held onto her baby girl. "You know... I never would have said I'd get to a point in my life where I was happy. I never thought you'd marry me, that we'd have a child together-" "I always knew we'd get there someday... Some people are just meant to be together, I could feel that with you."

Connie lay her head to his chest as he ran a hand through her hair. "You were awake? Before Mia I mean..." She nodded gently as he rubbed a hand up and down her arm. "Couldn't sleep, excitement I guess-" "You're excited? God how'd you think I feel?" She laughed lightly, smiling at his careful touch.

"Go put Mia down, there's something I want to do-" "Oh yeah?" Connie raised an eyebrow as he shook his head. "Not that." He kissed her quickly before she got up and wandered back to Mia's room.

Placing her down she gently rubbed the top of her head. "Sleep tight baby girl... I love you Little Miss Masters." She wandered away pulling the door to before realising Jacob was gone from the bed. "Jacob?" Her words were hushed whispers before seeing him come out of the bathroom.

"Lay down sweet cheeks-" "But you said?" "Yes... Just lay down for me." She held her hands up in surrender as she walked across the room. "Take your robe off... I'm not about to jump you." Connie rolled her eyes laughing as she undid the dressing gown letting it fall to the floor. "No matter how hard it is to resist you..."

Connie lay down on the bed as Jacob told her before feeling him straddle her back. She was about to question it before feeling his hands press to her shoulders. Almost straight away moans began to escape her lips as he massaged her back expertly. "God... Anyone would think you did this for a living..."

Jacob laughed continuing to move his hands over her skin, knowing exactly where to focus his attention. She felt her eyes drifting shut as she lay underneath him. "Don't worry about keeping your eyes open, that was the whole point sweet cheeks. To relax you, help you sleep..."

He received no response other than soft grunts. She was powerless under his touch but it felt fantastic. Nothing has ever felt so good, not even the sex. Jacob began to ease off noticing Connie had fallen asleep.

Jacob moved from where he was careful not to wake her. He gently lifted her further up the bed settling her down, pulling the cover over her. She instinctually moved a hand to his chest as he ran his fingertips up and down her spine. "I... Love... You..."

Her words were laboured and drawn out as she yawned. Jacob looked down at her with her eyes shut. "I love you too Mrs Masters-to-be... And our little bundles of happiness. Sleep, we've got forever together for everything else."

The following morning was a mad rush. Despite Connie having all of her things ready, she didn't feel mentally prepared to be going to the hotel today.

In 24 hours she would be sitting at a dressing table while her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done. Connie put her bags into the car while Grace ran into Jacob's arms almost knocking him down. "I love you Jacob!" "I love you too firecracker... I'll be seeing you tomorrow, looking your best with your beautiful mother."

Grace nodded before running down to the car while Connie stood in the doorway of the house having strapped Mia into the car. "You sure you don't want to leave her with me tonight so that you sleep properly?" Connie shook her head running a hand up his chest. "I'll be fine... I won't sleep anyway, not without you there-" "Try, tomorrow's going to be a long day."

Connie nodded with a smile before his arms encased her in a warm hug. "I love you to the moon and back." He kissed her temple before she looked up placing her hands either side of his face. Their lips met in a meaningful kiss, neither willing to deepen it or break it off.

The sound of Connie's car horn sounding caused them to pull apart. Turning to see Grace grinning sweetly from the car, Connie rolled her eyes. "Definitely your daughter-" "Definitely... I guess I'll see you tomorrow, I'll be the one wearing white."

Jacob laughed taking a final look at Connie before things sunk in. They were getting married. This was finally it. Everything he'd been building up for, all that he had wanted from life finally happening. "Have fun with your bridesmaids, or whoever you're staying with-" "I told you, it's just the three of us."

They said their last goodbyes before Connie climbed into the car, waving back at Jacob as they drove off. "Soooo... What time's Brianna getting to the hotel?" "She'll meet us there. I really hope Jacob's happy to see her tomorrow."
