Bailey
I laugh and lock my phone, running to my bedroom. Since it was Wednesday, it was a day I didn't have to work, so I didn't bother getting dressed. But since Grayson was coming, I had to.
I pull on a pink dress, silver flats, and a silver bow in my hair. I brush my hair and teeth and add a little makeup.
When I finish, I walk out and there's a knock on my door. I open it. Grayson stands with orchids, movies, and popcorn. "Movie?"
"Awe!" I coo, take his arm, and pull him inside. I close the door and wrap my arms around his neck. "You're the best, Grayson."
"I know." He smiles, his eyes flickering to my lips.
I bite my lower lip.
For a moment he stares at me. "So," His voice cracks. "movie?"
I nod, blushing. "Yeah, let's go."
We rush to the kitchen and he puts the flowers into a vase while I make popcorn and pour drinks. Grayson wraps his arms around my waist. "Isn't it funny how we met because you hated me."
"Hated? Babe, I still hate you."
He spins me around. "Babe?"
I blush, looking away.
Grayson leans in slowly. I close my eyes, until he suddenly isn't against me anymore. "I, I have to go." Grayson leaves, slamming the door. I flinch.
I frown, and the microwave beeps.
