Chapter Twenty-Seven

I take us to iHop. We both get waffles with eggs and bacon on the side. After breakfast, which I forcefully pay for, I drive to the mall. I buy her seven outfits, three pairs of shoes, and a dress. Yes, I'm spoiling her. I don't care.

After the mall, we hit up target and then go to Starbucks for lunch. We each get fruit and I get the Pink Drink while she gets a macchiato double shot with a double shot of vanilla.

Like she needed double shot. Haha I love her.

We kiss and then eat. Talking about nothing.

"Hey Charlie." A faintly familiar voice says.

"Hi baby."

"Blake?" Bailey asks.

Her brother looks at us. "Bailey and Grayson!" They hug and then we bro hug.

"Missed you both! Where ya been?"

"In a hotel, we're only staying for Christmas and then going to New Jersey."

"Nice! Why didn't you come stay with me?"

"Because we didn't wanna be a burden."

"Oh please, you're not!"

"It's too late now." I shrug. "And plus, money isn't an issue."

"True." Bailey laughs. "This boy here is famous." She hugs me. "That's how we met."

"How?"

"Because I was in love with his brother and hated him."

"And now you're in love?"

"Yes."

"Hm, weird." He laughs.

I was afraid for a moment that he wasn't going to approve. But I guess I was worried over nothing.

"Well, I've gotta run. Bye babe."

"Bye Blakey." The girl behind the counter says.

They kiss and he leaves.

"Are you two...?"

"Yes, and I swear to god you steal him from me-"

"You're joking. I have my own boyfriend and he's my brother."

The girl smiles. "Perfecto!"

We leave after that.
