(A/N: This is so cheesy. I almost died laughing while writing this. Read at your own risk.)

Seventh Year

"I can't do this anymore," Scorpius said through the pouring rain. Every time he tried to show his love for Rose over the years, she pushed him away, ridiculed him, hurt him.

He thought of all the times she laughed and called him "Bread Head" or scowled as he came near.

"I love you, Rose, but it's obvious you will never feel the same. When the day comes that you realize you were wrong, it will be too late. I can't keep playing this game anymore."

Rose was standing there a few feet away from him, getting soaked. She kept silent for a whole minute.

"You're right," she said, making him cringe. He felt like his heart would break into a million pieces, that he would die right there. "We have played this game far too long," she agreed.

Rose had no idea what got into her. Or maybe she did. All her feelings just came out and she was running to the Slytherin boy in front of her. She jumped in his arms and placed a kiss on his lips. When he realized what she was doing, he wrapped his arms around her. They held on tight.

"I love you, too," she laughed through her tears.
