Me and Ju had been good for the past week. Our relationship was back where it left off and things were amazing.

I was back at work for the first time in those few days and I was not happy to see Miranda there considering her so called boyfriend was the reason we broke up in the first place. I already hated her enough before that.

"Hi Kareem!" she said flipping her hair over her shoulder as she clocked in.

I fake smiled and greeted her back. "Hi."

I got set up at my register and worked a good hour without her in my face before Kat decided to put her on the one next to me.

I rolled my eyes and blew out a breath in frustration.

"Kareem why you look so down today? Trouble in paradise?" she said with a smirk.

I wanted to be nice but I was sick of controlling my tongue around her.

"I should be asking you that. Tell your man to keep his lips off me" I responded and she laughed. What was wrong with this girl?

"Oh honey I would. Too bad Julian's dick was in my mouth preventing me" she said. Did I hear her correctly?

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Oh. My bad. Did he forget to tell you? I'm Miranda. His ex bitch. The one he still loves. The one he let ride his dick as soon as he got rid of you last week."

She had to be lying. There was no way.

"Or did he also forget to tell you how he's been talking to me for months? Or how he told Romello to kiss you so he had a reason to throw you to the curb and come back to me?" she said smiling and my heart started pounding.

I wanted to believe she was lying but I couldn't.

I wanted to also beat her ass, but I couldnt.

It all added up. The strange phone calls, the way he acted when he met her, why he wanted me to quit so bad.

He knew this whole time and lied to me.

And he had also had sex with her as soon as we broke up? How could he?

I was furious. I couldnt even respond to her.

"Guess thats what happens when a guy gets with a girl like me. He just can't let go. Dont worry Kareem, I heard he came crawling back to you. I don't know why. You are not nice to look at" she said with a scoff.

I ripped off my nametag and grabbed my stuff before storming out of the store. There was no way I could stay there.

I got into my car and couldnt help as tears streamed down my face. How could I be so stupid?

I made it home and Lee was sitting on the couch laughing at the tv but when she seen me walk in she automatically ran to me.
