Imagine Jim Morrison trying to write a poem about you. He felt like he was going crazy, trying to make it as perfect as possible. You had been out of town and expected to be home that night, so he wanted to have it done by the end of the day.

"My dearest (y/n)," he whispered to himself as he studied the piece of paper in front of him with just those words on it.

He ran his hands through his hair as he tried to come up with something, but he was having the worst case of writers block and it was driving him crazy. He heard the door click behind him and quickly looked up at the clock, surprised he hadn't noticed how much time had passed. He quickly tried to cover the paper but, you'd already walked in.

"Hey," you said with a warm smile as you kicked the door shut and leaped into his lap, "I missed you."

You placed a kiss on his cheek and smiled as his arms held you tight in a warm embrace.

You noticed the half covered paper with your name on it and tilted your head, "What's this?"

You reached over and grabbed in, causing Jim to blush as he tried to explain.

"Well, you see, I was going to write a poem for you," he started, feeling shy as he watched you smile at him, "but, while I was writing I discovered something."

"And what did you discover?"

He reached up and brushed a piece of your hair behind your ear as he watched you with admiring eyes, "I discovered that no words can describe you or what you mean to me, it is in fact, simply indescribable."

You felt yourself falling into a daze as you fell more in love with him in that moment that you ever had before, his eyes were almost hypnotizing and his words made your heart swell in your chest. You grabbed his face and gently pressed your lips to his. His hand fell to your waist, his thumb rubbing small circles over your skin as his lips moved against yours.

You sighed and pulled away to lean against his forehead, "I love you, Jim Morrison."

He smiled and closed his eyes as he enjoyed the feeling of your hands resting on his cheeks, "And I love you, (y/n)."
