Imagine waking up and rolling over to see John lying there next to you. He was looking up at the ceiling sleepily, but when he heard you he turned to face you.
"Hi," you whispered, with a grin.
"Morning," he said in a sleepy voice.
You sat up a little and rested yourself on his chest and began to play with his face, running your fingers over his lips, brushing his nose and whatnot.
"What do you think you're doing?" He asked through a yawn.
You let out a giggle, "Trying to get you to smile," you said as you tugged at his lips.
He let out a sleepy groan and grabbed a pillow to hide his face.
"Oh come on," you laughed as you tugged on the pillow.
"Never," he teased, though his voice was muffled through the pillow.
"Joohhnn," you whined when you gave up and began to pout.
He slowly slid the pillow down so he could see your expression. Though you couldn't see his lips, you could see the smile he was wearing in his eyes. A smile of your own spread across your face as you kept your eyes on his.
"Are you pouting?" He asked.
"Mhmm," you said with a nod.
"What can I do to make you happy?"
You grabbed the pillow as quick as you could and tossed it across the room, making him erupt with laughter and smile like crazy.
"Got you," you teased as you gave him a cheeky grin.
"Oh hush, you already know you're the only one who can make me smile like that," he said as he pulled you up so you were resting on his chest again, "I'll only do it for you."
You giggled as he rubbed his nose on yours, "You're so cheesy."
"Just for you," he said again with a wink before he lifted his head to press his lips to yours.
You smiled into the kiss as he wrapped his arms around you and rolled you over to be on top of you. He grabbed the covers and threw them over the both of you.
"I love you," he breathed as he looked down to study your face.
You blushed under his gaze and pulled him down to kiss him once again, telling him just how much you loved him through your kisses.
