"Good lord, Paul," you laughed as he went into a giggling fit.
He was absolutely, positively drunk and you were getting a kick out of it.
"Oh, let me have my fun," he said with a smile.
"I am, I am," you said, "it's just funny, that's all."
"Oh, I'm funny? I make you laugh?"
He leaned over and started tickling you.
"No, Paul, don't you dare!" You squealed.
"It's funny though," he said with a smirk as he watched you squirm.
"Stop!" You giggled.
"You have to convince me," he said as he continued.
"Okay, okay, I'll do anything, just stop," you said as you tried to catch your breath.
"Oh, anything?"
He finally stopped and leaned back in his seat with an amused smile.
"Yes, that's what I said, just don't tickle me," you said.
"Hmm," he started before he took another sip of his drink, "you think of something."
"I don't want to think of something!"
"You're supposed to convince me, remember? But if you want me to continue, I'd be happy to," he said as he leaned in again.
"No, no," you said, putting a hand on his chest to stop him.
He looked down at your hand and you blushed.
"Sorry, I uh-"
"Trust me, I don't mind," he said with a nervous laugh.
His eyes looked up to meet yours, making butterflies swarm your stomach immediately.
"Well," you said nervously, "that's good."
He laughed, "Yes, it is, I suppose."
You blushed, "You know what I mean."
"Do I?" He asked in a soft voice.
His eyes flickered to your lips for just a second as he waited for you to respond.
"I think so," you whispered as your eyes too focused on his lips.
He slowly began to lean in, making you fill with excitement as he closed the gap between the two of you.
His lips were soft and warm against yours, fitting you perfectly. He moved his hand and rested it on your waist, sending a chill down your spine and making you giggle.
He smiled and broke away, "You're laughing again," he said happily, "something funny?"
"No, now I'm just happy," you said as you leaned your forehead against his.
"Me too," he whispered as he met your lips again.
