My Boss [COMPLETED]

Chapter 1: Pilot

Beep beep beep. 

I groan and turn off my alarm. I sit up on the bed taking the hair out my face. I've applied for 10 jobs so far and heard nothing back from them. Since i got my degree in business i applied mostly in companies. i did a interview 2 weeks ago with the Knight company. it's a famous well put together company that's been around for ages. 

that's the company i most want to work in. Not only do i think it will be good for my career but i know the CEO is hot. He's the son of the original CEO of the company William Knight. he took over when his father retired. 

i drag myself out of bed to go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. As i'm brushing my teeth i hear my phone start to ring in my room. with the tooth brush still in my mouth i run to go answer it. 

"Hello?" "is this Rachel Carter? " A girl says back to my muffled hello. i take out the toothbrush from my mouth"Yes this is she" "We understand you had a interview with Mr. Clerk about the position to work closely with Mr.Knight" i gasp. 

The Actual CEO Mr.Knight didn't interview me it was some other older guy who i think works on the bottom floor under Him. Mr. Clerk used to be the assistant for William Knight. So his opinion on who will be hired was most valued since it used to be his job. 

"Hello Ms.carter are you still there" I noticed I hadn't answered her yet and replied "oh yes sorry um...yes i did have an interview with Him." "with further evaluation of your application. Mr. Clerk has decided to pick you. you start tomorrow 7 Am Sharp." 

I nod my head And said.
"Okay! thank you so much!" we said our good Byes. i raised my hands in the air Smiling in victory "Yes!"

It was the next morning.
I groan taking the blanket off me. i'm gonna have to get used to waking up so early in the morning. I was able to get myself out of bed after sitting there for a few minutes with my eyes closed. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I go in my closet to pull out a short black pencil skirt, and a one piece long sleeve white shirt And black heels. I put my hair in a high pony tail, and put some Light makeup on. 

i look good! professional but sexy. 

Since i wasn't finically stable i could not own a car yet. So i had to call a Lyft to make sure i did not arrive to my first day at the job late. After ordering the Lyft, i went to the kitchen to drink some orange juice and had some toast. i don't like to eat heavy too early in the morning cause then my stomach will hurt the rest of the day. My phone vibrates indicating my Lyft is here. i grab my bag and my keys and leave the house. 

I been alone most of my life. My parents are gone, my brother has been in the military since i was 18. i had no one to talk to really. i wanted to text someone, any one, that i got the job at the knight company but i had no one. i fight the tears from coming out. Lately i just feel so alone. I need friends or a dog

I smile at the lyft driver and thank him. i get out the car making sure to not slam the door too hard. i take a deep breath and look at the big building in front of me. "here we go Rachel, you got this" i mumble to myself. i push the revolving doors to get inside the building. my eyes went wide at the sight of the lobby. People were by the coffee table, sitting on the couches, talking to each other by the elevator. 

the floor was a beautiful emerald black marble. i felt so fancy walking on it. My poor shoes felt out of place. the Furniture were mostly black. it's a nice little lobby. Very dark though. i can understand why the company is so popular & expensive by just the way the lobby looked. i wonder who Decorated it. 

i walk to the front desk smiling to the girl there. "Hi, I'm Rachel Carter, Mr. knights new assistant." She smiles, a friendly smile  "I'm belle, i work the front desk" She was cute. her light brown hair was in waves. she was wearing a navy blue dress. "t's nice to meet you" i return her friendly smile
