Chapter 60: Big news

i quickly shake my head. "no no, there is no way i could be pregnant! i got my period--" i start to trail off trying to remember the last time i had my period.  

i gasp "it's been a month" Ellis smiles and nods "i will go send my driver to pick up Pregnancy test's for you" she walks off while grabbing her phone from her pocket.  

i look at my belly. "i can't be pregnant...can i?" i mumble to myself. i stand up and look at myself in the mirror. My skin looks a little more clearer than usual and my boobs have gotten a lot more bigger.   

Ellis comes back in "he's gonna buy 4 " i give her a confused look. "4 why 4?" she shrugs "you can never be too sure darling"

we moved to the living room. waiting for her driver is making me more anxious than i already am. "what's taking so long" i mumble. as soon as i said that, the door bell rang. Ellis put her hand up in front of me. saying she will go get it. 

my left leg was shaking. Having a baby with Roman wouldn't be so bad, i mean its what we wanted since we got married. but its still a little crazy. i'm 35! isn't that too old to have a baby? i mean Romans almost 40.

"oh honey you're never too old to have a baby" Ellis said while walking back to me. i then realized i was talking out loud. i take a deep breath. "you think?" she nods while smiling. "of course honey...here"

she hands me the bag. i let out a deep sigh and grab the bag. "i'll be right outside" She says while rubbing my arm. i smile at her. "i'm glad you're here" i tell her. she smiles back "me too"

i walk silently to the bathroom. "okay just pee in the stick and find out if you're having a child...simple" i mumble and open all 4 boxes. i sit on the toilet and peed on one of the sticks. 

"okay one down 3 more to go"

i take a deep breath while i open the bathroom door to a waiting Ellis. "how was it?" "i have to wait 5 minutes" i tell her. she grabs my hand "i just wanna say if it is positive...i'm glad its you who will give me a grandchild"    

i smile at her. we walk back into the bathroom and sit on the floor. the bathroom is huge! it's the size of a bedroom and the floors are clean so it's not like we sitting on a dirty floor. the pregnancy test's are on top of the sink.      

i let out a breath. "i'm scared, what if i'm not a good mother?" Ellis shakes her head "you will be a great mother, you already have that instinct with Danger...even though he's a dog" i chuckle softly. 

"us women already get that motherly instinct the minute we find out we are pregnant, it's why we are so good with babies....well some of us" i chuckle. "don't worry i will help you" i lay my head on her shoulder. 

"i wish my mom was here" i say while a tear falls down. Ellis brings me into a hug. "oh honey, i know...i would have loved to meet her" i smile "you would have loved her..you remind me of her" i sniff. 

Ellis smiles, my phone starts to ding letting me know the 5 minutes are done. i take a deep breath. we both stand up. "are you ready?" she asks. i shake my head but grab a test any way. 

i gasp and put my hand over my mouth "it's positive" Ellis checks the other test "these are too!" she grabs my hand "you're gonna be a mother" i smile while tears fell down. 

"i'm gonna be a mother!" i yell. we jump together in excitement. me and Roman are having a baby.

"honey i'm home" Roman sings while walking in. i bite my bottom lip. Ellis left like 2 hours ago so i will be able to tell the news to him. 

i'm sitting on the living room couch watching t.v. i turn it off so i can greet Roman. "hey sexy" he says when he see's me. he pulls me into a hug while kissing my lips. 

i smile and pull away from him. "what was my beautiful wife doing today?" he asks while grabbing my butt. i chuckle "your mother came, we made mashed potatoes and chicken cutlet" 

he gasps "did you save me some?" i nod and grab his hand walking us to the kitchen. "you're smiling a lot" he stated. i chuckle "i had a very good day today" 

he kisses my cheek "i'm glad" he opens the fridge pulling out orange juice. i sit on the stool. i pull out one of the pregnancy test and place it in front of me. "babe how was your day today?" i ask.

his back was to me. he was near the stove heating up the food me and Ellis made. "it was good, Ray is doing a really good job taking care of the company in china" oh yeah i forgot to mention, Ray and Lilly moved to china so he can be the CEO of the Knight company there.  

"good, i knew he would do a good job" I say while smiling. Roman chuckles "don't think i forgot that you are the one who gave him the idea" he turns around and puts the plate of food right next to the pregnancy test.

he pauses and looks down at it. "what is this?" he mumbles. he picks it up and inspects it. he looked at me then the test then me again. "are you?" i smile brightly. "i'm pregnant." he gasps. 

"NO!" he yells and runs around the table to me. "Are you really?! this isn't a prank?!" i shake my head "it's real" he lifts me up the chair and spins me around. "YES!" he yells and kisses me on the lips. 

i laugh "are you excited?" he laughs "OF COURSE I AM!" i put my hand over my ears. "honey you have to stop screaming you're hurting my ears" he chuckles "sorry" he kisses me again. 

"we're gonna have a baby" he says while smiling. i smile back "we're having a baby"
