Chapter 13: He finds out

Still Roman's P.O.V

Me and Rachel just finished the meeting with Mr.green. Me and her were now walking back to my office in awkward silence.

"We have an hour till we talk to john so do whatever you want" I told her. she nods and goes inside her office.

I go to mine as well and close the door behind me. The reason we are going to a meeting to talk to john is because he wants to speak about the arrangements with me and Teresa and the wedding plans.

My father was suppose to be here but instead it's gonna be me, Ray, Rachel and John and 2 of his body guards and of course Teresa herself.

I don't know why I'm getting a funny feeling about Ray and Rachel. Both of them are lying to me about something.

Maybe it's nothing maybe I shouldn't worry about it at all but it's really bothering me. Of course I have an attraction to my assistant I shouldn't, but I do.

And this whole thing with Teresa is really messing me up. My father is putting a lot of pressure on me just so he can become wealthy.

A knock on the door stopped my thoughts "Roman let's go John came early" Ray tells me. I roll my eyes and stand up walking out my office. Rachel at the same time came out walking in front of me and Ray to press the elevator button.

"You're really excited about this meeting" Ray says to Rachel while she taps her foot waiting for the elevator to come.

"I'm not I just want this to be over with already" she tells him. "Yeah well you didn't have to come" he replies.

"Actually she did, she's my assistant and they're going to be parties she has to plan and meetings she has to make dealing with John and his family" I tell him shushing them both.

The elevator came and Rachel walked to the left corner of the elevator where she was away from both me and Ray.

The elevator stopped at floor 16. Teresa was standing right in front of the elevator.

"Baby!" She yelled and threw her arms around me.

I hugged her with one hand "You're early" I told her while she pulled away. She nods her curly hair bouncing as she did.

"Yes, daddy wanted to deal with this earlier because he has somewhere to go later" she tells me. I nod and put my arm over her shoulder and lead her to the room where the meeting was going to take place.

Rachel and Ray following behind I saw them whispering stuff to each other angrily. Ignoring them I walked inside the room sitting in my seat at the head of the table.

Rachel sat next to me and Ray next to her, Teresa on my left side and John next to Teresa. His body guards next to him.

"Rachel how lovely to see you" John says while smiling his creepy smile at her. She fake smiles and puts her hand under the table on her lap.

I clear my throat "so let's get this over with " John nods and pulls out his briefcase pulling out the contract my father warned me about.

"This contract if you don't know already, is telling you what we expect out of this marriage if you choose to ignore these expectation you could comment about it, if I don't agree to change it than this whole thing is cancelled and I know your father doesn't want this to fail."

I nod softly and grab the papers. "The first page is about me...we cannot have any secret partners, we have to be faithful to each other as long as we're married And you are to never hurt me or make me sad" Teresa says. "I'm sure that wouldn't happen Roman loves you very much" Rachel tells her.
