My Boss [COMPLETED]

Chapter 8: The Suv

beep beep beep  

i shut off my alarm and rolled out of bed. today will be a good day. today is going to be normal, i'm gonna walk in that building say hello to Belle and than go upstairs to the 20th floor, give Roman his coffee, get what i need to get for work and than go to my office and get all the work done and leave.

yeah that's what's gonna happen today. oh there's a meeting today with some people from china.

Roman want's to expand his business to china and other places. i got naked and went in the shower. i will only talk to Roman professionally.

i got out the shower and went to my living room and turned on the TV. the party from last night was showing, they showed everybody dancing they showed when he proposed and they showed Romans announcement and me being embarrassed when everyone clapped for me.

i groaned and shut off the TV. Walking to my closet annoyed. Danger of course was in there sleeping. i kissed him on the head and he got up licked me and went to my bed.

it's a routine me and him have it's cute. i picked out my black skater skirt and a long sleeve peach shirt and black comfy stacked chunky heel lace up ankle booties.

"ooh i feel cute Danger!"  Danger just barked. i smiled "i know thank you" i give him a kiss. i left my hair out after i straighten it and left the house.

walking to my black hummer, i noticed there was a black SUV parked in the corner. i look at the car. this neighborhood was very friendly and not one of them had a Black SUV. maybe it's just someone visiting. ignoring it i went into my car.

speeding away from my house to go to work. i noticed the SUV was following me. just to make sure, i turned right 4 times. sure enough he stayed right behind me the entire time. i started to breath hard.

he's following me. i drove faster to my job. i got to the parking lot to drop off my car. i quickly got out and ran to the stair case where it takes me to the lobby.

i was so scared and running so fast i didn't noticed that the car was gone. i ran to where belle was at the desk. "belle!" i said out of breath.

"oh my god Rachel what happened?!" she yelled and ran out from her desk to help me out. "there was someone following me" i told her out of breath.

she looked shocked "what?" i sighed to catch my breath she sat me down on the couch in the lobby and gave me some water. after drinking it i told her what happened.

"i got out my house and there was a black SUV outside in the corner and than when i got in my car they were following me." "did you see who it was?" 

i shook my head. she sighed "honey you have to tell Roman" i looked at her confused.

"what? why do i have to tell him this isn't his business" she shook her head "he can get you body guards and protect you and plus he can find out who it was" i shake my head "no i can't tell him it's not his business i can protect myself"

she sighed "fine be like that but please be safe" i look at her and nod "I will" "by the way you look cute" she smiled. i flipped my hair "oh thank you honey."

I got on the elevator to go to Romans office. During the ride I started to think about the SUV. Why was that person following me? What did they want?

The elevator door dinged and opened. I got out and walked to Romans office. I haven't spoken to him since I broke whatever we had off. So I know it will probably be awkward.

I knock on the door. "Come in" said a girl's voice. Confused I opened the door. Teresa was on Romans lap kissing his jawline.

I gasped taking in what I was seeing. Roman had his hand on her hips. He stared at me with a smirk on his face.
