Chapter 27: The engagement party

I arrive at the place where the party was being thrown. It was where rich people usually throw their big get together's. I myself could never afford to throw a party in this place.

It was 7:50 people should start coming, I made sure the tables were all set and the food was poisoned. Ha ha I'm just kidding....or am i?

"Hey Rach the place looks great!" Belle said when she got here hand in hand with James. I smiled at them. "Thanks and belle you look beautiful" I grab her hand that wasn't holding James and made her do a little spin. She was wearing a blue glitter mermaid dress.

"Thanks babe and you look beautiful as well." She told me. I smile at her and gave James a glare "take good care of her tonight or else I will" I said while winking at belle. They both laughed. "Where's Tracy?" Belle asked.

I sigh "well, her and Josh are at my place having their little alone time together while I'm stuck here" belle nodded "right right, I forgot" "babe, Bruce is here I'm gonna go talk to him" James said to belle and kissed her cheek. "Okay" belle mumbled.

Me and belle watched as James went towards Bruce who was not alone. he was with a short brown haired guy. "He's cute" belle said to me. I nodded in agreement. Bruce and James hugged.

"Should we go?" I asked belle while staring at them. Belle nodded "we should" we walk silently to the group. When Bruce saw us his smiling face disappeared and got replaced with a worried and scared look.

Belle shook her head at him. "No please we come in peace" i nod "yes promise we mean no harm" he sighed in relief. "Look I'm sorry about what happened with Tracy. I never thought that this was how it was going to turn out" me and belle shrug "its fine Bruce, we understand and so does Tracy" belle said.

I look at the guy next to Bruce who was hiding behind him. I smiled at him and gave him my hand. "I'm Rachel, this is belle" he hesitantly reached out to grab my hand and shook it.

"I'm Gabe" he replied, he sounded shy it was cute. "This is my boyfriend" Bruce added while putting his hand over Gabe's shoulder. Gabe smiled at him then smiled at us.

"Well it's nice to meet you Gabe. I just hope Bruce treats you good, if not I'm on the first floor of the knights company and you let me know" Belle said in a serious but playing tone. Gabe chuckled at her and nodded "I will remember that"

I look at the entrance. Roman and his family were walking in and of course Teresa was with them, Holding Roman's arm. "Excuse me" I said to the group and walked towards the knight family.

"Rachel this is beautiful, you have a talent for decorating" Ellis, Roman's mother said. I smiled at her and gave her a hug "thank you"

Roman stared at me. I saw him bite his bottom lip while he looked at me from head to toe with his eyes. Smirking at him I gave Ray a hug as well.

"You look beautiful " he said and spun me around. I giggled "thanks" "yeah good job on my engagement party and you do look stunning" Teresa said in her snobby voice. I fake smile at her. "Thank you, your dress is beautiful "

She fake smiled back at me. "Thanks, Roman picked it" she wore a long white dress that showed what little cleavage she had and a slit at the bottom so her left leg showed.

"I need to speak with Miss Carter real quick" Roman said while pulling his arm away from Teresa's grasp. "Alone?" She asked worried. I wanted to say a smart comment but bit my tongue instead. "It will be fast" Roman said and gave Teresa a peck on the lips.

Ellis grabbed Teresa arm "come child let's go find our table" ray followed after giving me a wink. Roman grabbed my arm roughly dragging me to the hall where no one was at.

Before I could say anything he pinned me to the wall and slammed his lips on mine. Not even hesitating I lost my fingers in his hair. Pulling him closer. He put one hand besides my head on the wall supporting himself and the other was on my waist, pinning me.

I moaned and bite his lip so he can open his mouth for me. He did and I slipped my tongue in, while playing with his. He groaned and pulled away. Both of us out of breath. He leaned his forehead on mine.

"You look breath taking" he whispered. I bit my bottom lip while looking at his lips still. "I wore it for you" I whispered. i was out of breath but i wanted--needed more. I needed Roman back on me.

"Good choice" he said and kissed me again. He kissed me with the same passion I gave him. I wanted to lift one of my legs up so I can wrap it around him but this stupid but beautiful dress wouldn't let me. I held on to the collar of his suit instead, while we kissed. He then pulled away.

"We have to stop" he said out of breath. I touched his swollen lips with my finger. "I don't want to" I moaned. He closed his eyes taking a deep breath and pulled away.

"I know" he said. He sounded in pain. I chuckled "you have blue balls?" He glared at me. I laughed at him. "Benditto" I teased.

He sighed and ran his hands through his hair. "Do I have anything on my face?" I shrugged "you have my lip stick on your lips but I don't feel like taking it out "

He glared at me again. "Rachel" he warned. I sighed "alright alright " I started to wipe his lips, taking out the redness. "There, you're clean" I said annoyed.

He frowned "you're not wearing the necklace " confused I touched my neck. Sure enough the necklace was gone. "I could have sworn I had it on when i left the house" I said more to myself then Roman.

"You better not have lost it that cost money Rachel" he threatened. I quickly nodded "I know I know, its probably still in the house I'll text Josh about it " "you better" he warned then walked away.

I sighed calming my breathing. "God that was so hot" I mumbled. I wanted to run after him and grab him. I took a deep breath then walked back to the ball room. A lot more people arrived and I felt better knowing I wasn't the only one who dressed fancy.

The only person who was wearing white was Teresa. "Hey" ray said behind me. I smiled at him. "Hey yourself, you look nice"

He grinned "you look beautiful " he said while spinning me. I giggled "oh stop it" he pulled me close to him. My chest on his. We slowly danced to the song that was playing, which was ed Sheeran thinking out loud.

"What were you and my lovely brother talking about?" He asked while putting his hand by my waist and holding my hand with the other. I sighed "nothing really, nothing important"

He nodded, "so.... I haven't seen you since you left my office that day with Tracy, are you avoiding me?" I gasped at the sudden question. Honestly I was avoiding him. Whatever that was that happened while we were at his office was really crazy.

Me and Tracy having sex with Ray, I have never dazed out like that before and just the thought of going back with Ray was making me insane.

In one hand I wanted to grab Ray and have him slam me on top of a table but the other I wanted to be loyal to Roman, even though we are not together.

I sighed and answered honestly. "Yes I have been ignoring you" he frowned "but why, I didn't do anything" i nod "yeah i know, it's not what you did it's what I did....with Tracy"

He gasped then laughed "you had a sex dream about me?" I rolled my eyes at him "it wasn't a sex dream I was wide awake, my mind just went to that place" he nodded while smirking.

"You want me" he stated. I huffed and let go of his hand and turned to leave. He chuckled and grabbed my wrist pulling me back to him.

"Come on Rachel, I'm flattered but you know all you gotta do is ask" he said while leaning his lips closer to mine. I opened my mouth to say something but was caught off by William, Ray's dad. He was tapping the microphone.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I have an announcement to make" he said. Ray groaned "Cock blocker" I slapped his chest playfully and walked to my table where Belle, James, Bruce and Gabe was.

"You ready to listen to this snobby speech?" Belle whispered to me. I rolled my eyes "let's get this over with"
