Chapter 59: Mashed potatoes

it's been 5 long years since me and Roman been married. A month after our wedding Tracy gave birth to little Ruben. he is the cutest thing ever. he's so polite its disgusting. he's the exact replica of josh. 

being Roman Knights wife has been a blast. the sex OH MY GOD! it feels like it gotten better now that we are married. Lilly and Ray are engaged. Belle and James got married also 3 years ago. 

i don't know when Josh is gonna get the balls to ask Tracy to marry him, i mean they already have a child together when is he gonna be ready?! 

Danger and Katy are expecting! the little pervert got her pregnant..they should make condoms for dogs, i wonder how that would go. laughing at the thought i leave the bathroom. i have been vomiting non stop for 3 days.

i think it was the sushi i ate. i plop myself on the bed. Roman was working. since i'm his wife now i decided i wasn't going to be his assistant any more. so he had to hire a guy name Mike who is pretty good at the job better than me.

i made sure Roman hired a male assistant cause we already know what he did to his last assistant, he frickin married her like a dumb ass. 

 Roman's mom is on her way here to teach me how to cook her famous mashed potatoes so i can cook it for Roman.

Katy waddles herself in the room. "hey Katy" i say and get off the bed to pet her. "how you feeling mama?" she barks softly. i rub her belly "aw baby, i know you wanna kill Danger for doing this to you?" she sneezes.

"I'm going to take that as a yes, Danger come here!" i yell. he immediately runs to my room. wagging his tail and barking. i slap his butt lightly 

"how dare you get Katy pregnant, she's mad at you" he barks in response and than goes to lick Katy's face.

i pout my lips "so cute" the door bell rings. since i made sure Roman gave Walter and Linda the week off so they can be together i had to go open the door myself. 

i skipped downstairs Danger and Katy following. they rang the bell again. i quickly checked the camera view to see who was there. it was Roman's mom. i opened it greeting her with open arms "Ellis, it's so good to see you" i say while we hugged. 

she smiled "i missed you honey, now lets get started on those mashed potatoes!" i grab some bag's she was holding helping her carry it to the kitchen. 

"where's Linda and Walter?" she asked while putting the bags on the table. i sigh "i had Roman give them the week off, they took a little vacation together" she pouts her lips. 

"oh how cute, i was always rooting for them" i smile agreeing with her. we start to take out the ingredients we needed to cook the mashed potatoes when i felt my stomach do flips. "oh God" i mumble and run to the nearest bathroom. 

"Rachel honey!" i hear Ellis call out. i ignore her while i open the toilet and vomit my guts out. "ugh" i stand back up when i was done and washed my mouth. 

"Rachel are you okay?" Ellis asks while walking in the bathroom. i nod and dry my mouth with the towel. "i think it was the sushi, i'm okay" 

she gives me a suspicious look but lets it go. we walk back to the kitchen. "okay so first we have to mix this together."

2 hours later we were done cooking. i learned how to make the mashed potatoes and i also learned how to make chicken cutlet. we were sitting down now eating our food. "hmm this taste so good" i moan. 

she chuckles "it does, we make a great team" i nod and continue eating. she puts her fork down and stares at me. "Rachel are you okay?" 

i chuckle softly at her. "yes Ellis i'm fine, why do you ask?" she shrugs "you're in this house all alone, Romans always working" i shrug "it's okay, and i'm not alone all the time..when Walter and Linda get back i won't be alone"

"plus Maria comes from time to time to say hi and clean up" i add. Ellis shakes her head "i still don't think its right for you to be here alone and while you're sick!" 

i nod "i understand, but you know how the knights are, work is everything to them" she nods "yeah but so are their wives..you need to let Roman now that he needs to spend more time with you,

work may be important but he didn't marry his job he married you, he needs to remember that" she picks up her fork and starts to eat again. i let her comment sink in while i eat.

it is true that i have been in this mansion all alone lately. but i understand that Romans busy with work, i mean i used to work with him i know the struggle. 

i pick up my cup of water and started to drink it. the minute i was done drinking i felt my stomach start to throb again. "not again" i mumble. i leave the dinner table and run again to the bathroom. 

Vomiting everything i just finished eating. i sat on the floor near the toilet tired. "i ate that sushi 3 days ago when is this gonna go away" i say to myself. Ellis comes in the bathroom. "honey i think its time" 

i give her a confused look. "time for what?" she smiles "time for you to take a pregnancy test"
