Chapter 58: The wedding

"i shouldn't be so nervous, i'm marring Roman Knight why am i so nervous oh my God my feet are sweating" i say while sitting down on the love chair. Lucy chuckles at me. "honey it's totally normal for you to feel like this"

i take a deep breath "did you feel like this when you married papi?" she smiles "yes i did...but what made me feel better was knowing that he was out there waiting for me, waiting for me and him to start our life together" 

i sigh and look at Belle "Belle make sure he's there waiting for me" she rolls her eyes and grabs my hand "Rachel he's there waiting, he looks more nervous than you" Lilly walks up behind her "Rachel you look beautiful" 

i smile at her "thank you" Tracy rolls her eyes, her baby bump looking ready to pop. "if you don't get your ass up there right now i will sit on you" i laugh and stand up "okay lets do this" 

Tracy hands me the bouquet of flowers. the girls stand in front of me. the brides maids go first and than me and papi will walk in. 

papi holds my arm and smiles at me. "you look beautiful, just like your mother" i smile at him trying to hold back the tears. "i wish she was here" i say to him. he nods and kisses my temple "me too sweetie, me too" 

the girls go in. i take a deep breath and start to walk, the music starts playing "don't trip, don't trip, don't trip" i kept mumbling to myself. i look at everybody who was here. Linda and Walter finally got together, they were the 1st people i noticed. 

"i'm sweating" i told papi. he chuckles "honey i think Roman is sweating more than you" i look at Roman and almost started to cry. he was wiping his tears trying not to cry but they wouldn't stop. 

his forehead looked shiny, probably from him sweating as well. we locked eyes. i shook my head at him while smiling. Josh handed him a tissue and he used it to wipe under his eyes. Papi passed me to Roman but not without giving me a kiss on the cheek and giving Roman his blessing.

 i sigh and grabbed Romans hands. "stop crying" i tell him softly. he shakes his head "i can't, you look so beautiful" i smile at him. we give our attention to the priest.

it was time for the vows and the passing of the rings. "i wanna go first" i told the priest. he nods and urges me to continue. i take a deep breath "Roman, when i 1st met you i thought you were so sexy" the crowd laughs and so does Roman.

"i felt like the lord blessed my eyes when i saw you, i kinda thought you were rude at 1st and at times i wanted to punch you for giving me so much work to do" the crowd laughs again. i sigh 

"i thought i was gonna lose you when you were signed up to marry someone else...but we didn't give up on each other...and although it is inappropriate and unprofessional to be marring you boss!" Roman smiles. 

i grab the ring from Lilly and hold it up to Romans finger "with this hand i will lift your sorrows, your cup will never be empty, for i will be your wine. i will light your way in darkness. with this ring i ask you to be mine forever" i recited the weddings vows from the movie the corpse bride. 

i slip the ring on his finger "and if you ever cheat on me i will cut your balls off and give it to danger to play with" i smile innocently at him while the crowd laughs but some guys including my dad put his hand over their balls.

Roman shakes his head "i will never cheat on you, you're the only one for me" i smile at him. the Priest looks at Roman "did you have any vows?" Roman shakes his head "i kinda already said the vows when i asked her to marry me"   

i roll my eyes "what's your point?" Roman glares at me i chuckle and slap his arm "i'm just kidding, its okay" Ray hands Roman the ring. "repeat after me Roman. I Roman Knight" "i Roman Knight" "take thee Rachel to be my wedded wife"   

"take thee Rachel to be my wedded wife" "to love and to hold, in sickness and in health" "to love and to hold in sickness and in health" "to love and to cherish, till death do us part" "to love and to cherish till death do us part" 

"you may slip the ring on her finger" Roman puts the ring on me while cheesing like a little boy. i smile back at him with the same energy "now by the power vested in me, i now pronounce you Man and wife"     

"finally" i mumble and kiss Roman. he holds the back of my head pulling me closer. the crowd goes wild they all stand up and applaud. when we pull apart roman hugs me. "you're finally my wife" he whispers to me. 

i smile at him "you're finally my husband" "forever and always" he says while kissing my temple. "forever and always " i repeat.
