Chapter 31: The phone call

"oh my God!" Tracy and belle both said once i told them about last night and this morning. i nod "i know" it was lunch time and i was filling them in about Roman.

Belle clapped "so finally you guys had sex! how was it? is he good? was it better than Ray? are you gonna do it again?" 

Tracy slapped her arm to calm her down. "ow...sorry" belle said. i smile at her "yes he was good and him and Ray are both good i can't really say who's better and yes i hope so"

Belle clapped her hand together in excitement. i look at Tracy "what about you? how did it go with my brother?"

she sighed in sadness. "your brother is amazing...i just don't think i'm good for him" "what why?" Belle gasped. Tracy sighed again.

"he's perfect, he's everything i want in a man...it's just, i'm so broken you know? i gave up my v card to a gay guy in a club and i'm just a mess in life" 

i touch her arm in comfort. "oh honey, you're not shattered...so what you did that thing that we will not speak of at the club" belle said. i kicked her lightly.

"ow" she whispered. i gave her a glare and went back to Tracy. "what Belle meant to say is don't let what Bruce did mess you up, Josh is a great guy and you're an amazing girl, you two deserve each other.

you're like mayo and tuna, you don't taste right without each other" she smiled at me. "did you just call me a fish and josh a sauce?" i rolled my eyes at her playfully.

"shut up and text Josh, tell him you want to see him later" she sighs "okay okay fine, you're right" 

i stood up grabbing my plate with me. "okay chicas my break is over, i'll see you guys later" they waved bye.

walking to the garbage to throw out my trash, i saw Teresa waiting for the elevator, she couldn't see me but i was watching her. she was on the phone. 

"no i'm serious mark, whatever happened last night was a mistake and really wrong" she said to the phone. there was a pause.

"no, nobody could know, especially not Roman, this would crush him, i think he really is starting to like me." there was another pause. 

"fine fine, i'll see you tonight. i'm going to see Roman right now so i'll make sure he doesn't try to bother me or anything...no we are not going to do that you dirty bastard" she giggled. i gagged. 

"alright bye see you later" she hung up the phone just as the elevator started to arrive. she went in and the elevator closed.

i gasped and ran back to Tracy and belle. "oh my God, oh my God!" i kept repeating when i got to them. they both were confused. 

"oh my God what? what happened?" Belle asked. i sat on the chair and leaned forward so nobody else would hear me but them.

"i just saw Teresa waiting for the elevator on the phone, she slept with someone last night at the party" they both gasped "no!" Tracy whispered yelled. i nodded fast. 

"yes! and she's going to meet the guy tonight! she's gonna go see roman and make sure he doesn't bother her later so she can be with the guy, his name is mark" i told them. belle gasped "you have to tell him" i nod "ah you think?!" Tracy shook her head. "i say we follow her" 

me and belle both look at her. "what?" we both said. Tracy nods "think about it! if we follow her and take pictures of her and this Mark guy, we could blackmail her into doing whatever we want!" i scratch my chin. "that's not a bad idea"  

Belle looked at me and Tracy. "are you crazy? that's a terrible idea! what if Roman finds out and gets mad at you Rachel? or what if she finds out its us who's blackmailing her and goes to the police! i don't look good in orange!" Belle yelled. 

Tracy rolled her eyes. "think about it Belle, we can make her break up with Roman so Rachel can be with him. if we bribe her the right way, Roman's dad can get the money he needs to be more rich and Rachel could be with her man!"

i nodded in agreement. "i agree, i think we can do this" me and Tracy stare back at belle with puppy dog eyes.

she sighed in defeat "fine, i'm in. but if we go to jail you 2 would be my bitches" me and Tracy laugh.

after i talk to the girls about our plan, i went upstairs to Romans office. Teresa was in there. "Mr. Knight, i'm really not feeling well" i said once i got in. Roman looked concerned.

"what's going on?" i put my hand on my belly rubbing it. "i don't know, my stomach just been hurting i threw up and i have this awful headache" i said and sat down on the chair to be extra dramatic. 

Even Teresa looked concerned. "are you alright?" she asked. i shake my head "it's probably nothing but i think i should go home"

Roman nods. "yeah you can go home" Teresa looked at me, almost trying to figure me out. Does she know I'm lying?

"you could be pregnant" Teresa suggested. my eyes went wide and so did Roman. his eyes flashed with fear and he started to look really sweaty, i immediately shook my head and hands. "no! no i'm not!" i said to her, more to Roman than her. i saw him relax.

i chuckled nervously. "so i'll see you tomorrow Mr.knight and Goodbye Teresa" i got out of there as fast as i could and met up with Belle and Tracy, who were already waiting for me in Belle's car. 

"what took you so long?" Tracy asked from the passenger seat. i sighed as i put my seat belt on in the back seat.

"Teresa almost gave Roman a heart attack, when i faked being sick in order to leave she suggested that i might be pregnant"

Tracy laughed "he's dumb, how you gonna have symptoms of pregnancy when you guys just did it for the first time" 

i shrugged "boys" we all laugh. we got quiet when we saw Teresa come out the company. "okay here we goes"
