Chapter 6: The big boss

This is danger

i woke up with a smile on my face. i kissed Danger good morning and got off the bed. i walked to my closet and put on a black jump suit and my heels, my hair in a pony tail and gave Danger food and water. i walked him out in the front for a little bit before leaving the house for work.

Driving to work was the best. i was listening to music and there was no traffic at this time. coming back home was the worse.   

i pulled into the parking lot and walked silently to the building. when i got in everybody was busy. everyone was working, nobody was hanging out in the lobby or talking while drinking coffee.

i walked to belle's desk. "belle why is every one working?" "well they have a job to do Rachel" she said sarcastically. i slapped her arm playfully.

 "i know that doofus but nobody is hanging out" she nods "yeah Romans father is coming" i gasped "William Knight is coming here?" i asked with my mouth opened.

she nodded "yeah and if he see's people slacking he will get them fired" i gasped "i gotta go i still have 12 documents to do" i ran quickly to make Romans coffee "Roman is in a bad mood!" belle yelled after me. i groaned and got in the elevator.

i looked at my watch i was only one minute late. i knocked on Roman's door. "Mr.knight your coffee" i say when i walked in.

 he nods. "thanks, i need those Documents miss carter. you have to stop slacking or i'm gonna fire you" 

'wow' i mouthed to myself. "yes sir i'm on it" i  walk out to my office. i got to work as soon as i got in. today is going to be a long day.

there was a knock on my door. i looked at the time it was 1:30. damn it, i missed lunch. "come in" i told the person who knocked.

 "Miss Carter i am William Knight." i looked up immediately from my computer. he was a older man, he looked just like Ray but with grey hair and more wrinkles. He was extremely handsome for his age. "Mr. knight p-please come in" i told him nervously standing up.

he closed the door behind him and sat down across from me gesturing for me to sit as well. "Miss carter i understand you are my son's new assistant" i nod "well i'm going to ask you a personal question....do you want to have sex with my son?"

 i choke on my saliva. "excuse me?" "i only ask because his past assistant's has had relations with my son, seems he can't keep it in his pants" he says while crossing his hands together. Wow what a way to make a girl feel special Roman Knight. 

i shook my head "no Mr.knight i would not want to have sex  with your son" i lie. "good because i'm arranging a marriage for my son"

 i looked at him confused. "i'm sorry?" he sighs"well you see i'm a very rich man and a smart man too. but i have been offered to be an even richer man if i married my son off to Mr. Scott's daughter"
