Chapter 47: Lilly and Ray part 2

"but i'm your assistant...isn't that illegal or something?" i say while glancing back up at him. he shrugs "it's not illegal to go out with someone at your job" i nod "yeah i know but...i'm your assistant" 

he sighs and grabs my waist pulling me to him. "if Roman and Rachel could make it work why can't we?" i huff "Ray that's different! Roman is getting married soon and their relationship is a secret, they can't go public with it, they can't go outside holding hands!

he's getting married! i don't want that for us" he rolls his eyes "Lilly, i'm not getting married" i nod "yeah i know that, but you are still my boss" he sighs and pulls away from me. "Lilly you're making a big deal out of nothing."

i gasp "am i? okay fine how bout i do us both a favor. Me and you are never gonna happen, i quit" i turn around walking fast out the office slamming his door behind me. "i can't believe him" i mumble to myself. 

i speed walk to the staircase to go to the 20th floor. i'm gonna ask Rachel if she can help me pack up and get the papers sorted out before i leave. "i can't believe Ray thinks it's not a big deal, he wants to start a relationship with me!

he can't be to shock that i'm worried about it" i say to myself. walking towards Rachel's office i knock lightly. "Rachel, it's Lilly i need your help with something" i hear Rachel laughing. i look at Roman's office door. it's wide open and he's not in there.

i gasp, maybe he's in there with her! "I'll be right there! i will meet you in your office" she calls out. i smirk. yeah after you're done with Roman. "okay!" i reply to her. i skip back to the stair case. 

walking back to my office i'm see Ray standing near my desk. i roll my eyes "what are you doing here? i have nothing to say to you" he sighs "Lilly i'm sorry, i didn't mean to get you mad" i roll my eyes "yeah what ever"   

i walk towards my desk, putting my lap top in my purse. Ray sucks his teeth. "Lilly stop, you're not quitting" i chuckle "um yes i am, Rachel will help me deal with everything before i leave" he goes to grab me but i walk away from him.

walking to the couch i start to grab the things on the coffee table that's mine. he grabs my wrist stopping me. "Ray let go of me" i say in an angry tone. "no" he says. i sigh in aggravation. "let go of me" 

"no" i glare at him he smiles. I start to fight with him, trying to pull my arms away from his grip. "i'm not letting you go so there's no use of fighting me" he says while stepping closer to me. i stare at his beautiful brown eyes.

he raises an eyebrow. "like something you see?" i shake my head "you're a dick" i tip toe and slam my lips on his. he responds right away. he sits us on the couch, our lips never leaving each other. 

Back to the present

"And that's when you came in" Lilly says while sighing. i couldn't help the grin that came on my face. "Yayy!" i yell. i stand up "i have wanted you to be with him since me and you became friends, you're perfect for each other!" 

Lilly gives me a confused look. "how? we're total opposites, he's a rich handsome guy and i'm a blonde chick with a twin" i laugh "Exactly! you guys are so cute i'm so glad you guys are together"  

she shifts in her seat. "but that's the thing i don't even know if we are together or not..all we did was kiss" i shrug "then go ask him...or you want me to? cause i'll totally do it" she chuckles and stands up.

"i'll go do it right now" i clap my hands in excitement. "oh and you're still gonna work here right?" i ask. she nods "yes Rachel i'm not leaving...yet" she runs out the office before i can fight with her about the 'yet' part.         

i sigh and shake my head. "my OTP!" i yell and skip out the office to go to mine.
