Chapter 53: Surprise

I knock on Roman's mansion door. "Is it my beautiful darling Rachel knocking?" Walter says on the other side of the door. I chuckle and reply in a British accent.

"Why yes it is, and I've got gifts" I hear him gasp and he opens the door widely. "Rachel!" He says with arms open wide.

I hug him while smiling. "Good to see you Walter" he let's go of me and looks at my hands. "I see bags." I laugh and walk by him to go inside "I'm only here for a short time but i heard it was a special someone's birthday so i got some gifts for her"

He gasps and claps "Linda's birthday party is going to be amazing, I'm decorating everything! I hope she appreciates all the precious time I'm using for this party"

I smile at him and walk towards the fish tank "roman told me to hide the gifts in the fish tank room" Walter nods and opens the room for me.  

"Where is Roman anyway?" I put the bags on the floor, Walter following me out the room. "He's at a meeting right now with Ray, they're discussing when's a good time to start building the company in china" I tell him while walking back to the front door. 

He nods "oh right, roman was quite angry when Mr. Lee said ray was going to be head of that company" I nod "I know...by the way did you know Ray can speak Chinese?"

Walter laughs "yes i did, he cursed out Roman in Chinese and it was quiet hilarious, ray translated it for me later on"

"I was so shocked when I found out" I told him while opening the front door. I give him a hug "I'll see you later for the party"

He nods "bring danger! Katy misses him she was crying all day for him it's making me go insane" I laugh "I will, chao"

"Cheerio!"he says back as I leave. It's our way of saying bye to each other. A month has passed since the dinner with papi and everything has been going great.

Teresa loves the new invitation I made for her but she's still depressed about mark. Roman is planning on meeting papi tomorrow, I had told Roman everything about Henry. 

He was pretty pissed for like 5 minutes but got over it when I told him I forgave him for the things he did. Linda's surprised birthday party, Roman's chef is tonight so I'll be able to spend the entire night with Roman.

I already told Josh that I was sleeping over here. He was so happy to have the house all to himself so Tracy can come over.

I drove quietly back home. I had to pack my bag and get danger ready to see Katy.

"I'm home" I yelled as I closed the door. "Finally! I'm starving" Josh yells while plopping himself on the couch. I roll my eyes at him.

"You're such a baby, why don't you cook something for yourself?" He shrugs "but than what would I have you for" I gasp and hit his shoulder.

He laughs and sits up. "Henry's excited to meet Roman tomorrow" Josh says while raising his eyebrows like a creep. I roll my eyes and sit next to him. Danger comes running from my room and jumps on my lap.

"Hi baby" I say in my baby voice and kiss his face. "I know Roman is too" Josh slaps my thigh and gets up. "Go get ready for Linda's party I want Tracy to come over already"

I roll my eyes at him and stand up as well, danger following me to my room. "You know I haven't seen my best friend in a long time because of you" I complain.

Josh snickers "that's not my fault, you're always busy with Roman" I suck my teeth and open my closet. "You're still taking her away from me!" I call out.

Josh jumps on my bed while holding a cup of orange juice. "What are you wearing for the party?" I sigh and grab a pink dress.

"Cute right?" I say. Josh nods while sipping his juice "very cute" he stands up and walks towards the door. "I'm gonna go take a shower so I can smell clean for trace, you better be gone by the time I get out....I'm gonna be naked"

"Ugh gross" I say and throw a sock at him. He laughs and leaves my room.

I'm at Roman's house. Walter decided to use the back yard Roman has to throw the party for Linda. "hey Rachel" Maria says to me while walking by. i wave at her. i walk towards the pool area hoping to see roman. 

instead i see Teresa laughing with Ray. i walk up to them. "hey Teresa and Ray" Ray smiles when he sees me and puts his arm around my shoulders. Teresa glares at me. "what are you doing here? this is my husband's party" i take a deep breath to calm myself. 

"i was invited and this isn't your 'husbands' party its Linda's birthday party" she gives me a confused look "who's Linda?" my mouth fell open to an O shape. 

"who invited you?" i ask snotty. she chuckles "i don't need an invitation to be at a party, everybody wants me here" Ray snorts while shaking his head. he puts his hand on her shoulder patting it softly. 

"i'm gonna go mingle and leave you too girls to finish your little chat" he winks at me while walking away. i glare at him and bring my attention back to Teresa. 

"this is a private party, only people Linda actually knows was invited" i hiss. she rolls her eyes "Roman invited me, and Rachel remember your place...you may be Roman's trusted assistant but i am going to be his wife and if that doesn't happen, do you wanna be the one to tell William you left him bankrupt?" 

i stood quiet trying to think of something to say back. she scoffs "didn't think so" she tries to walk past me but i grab her arm. whispering to her "do you wanna be the reason Mark gets fired from your fathers company?" 

her body stiffens "how do you know about Mark?" "i wonder what daddy would think when he finds out you've been sleeping with his employee, when you should be focusing on marring Roman knight."

i move closer to her. "know your place Teresa, everyone in here wants nothing to do with you, but Mark does and you broke his heart. when the shit hits the fan, no one would be by your side because the one person who would move Mountains for you, you gave him up" 

i let her arm go and start to walk towards the tables "remember that Teresa" i say without looking back at her.
