Chapter 4: Mistake

I sighed deeply. "i sooo want him." i told Belle and Tracy while i was laying down. we were in my room talking about Mr.knight. "so go get him! i don't see the problem" Tracy said while shrugging. i shake my head "it's unprofessional and he's a walking hard-on"

Belle nodded "true but you want him and he want's you" i groan and threw my head back "i know!" Tracy went inside my closet "you have such cute clothes" she gasps.

it's been 2 weeks since the incident with him. I've been ignoring him and he's been trying to get my attention but I'm keeping it professional.

"i need a distraction" i told the girls. Belle shrugged "get a dog" i look at her. "a dog?" she nods "yeah a dog is your distraction, they're lovable, awesome and every girl's best friend"

Tracy nodded "i agree get a dog" i sighed and got up. "i think you're right I'm gonna get one right now" "Atta girl!...i'm gonna steal some of your clothes" Tracy said and continues looking through my clothes. i shrug "go ahead, i'm gonna get a dog" i grin.

Getting a dog was harder than I thought. I went to so many different pet stores and was about to give up, when something told me to check the shelters. I was hesitate at first cause I wanted a puppy. 

When i first walked in and laid eyes on my new dog I just knew he was perfect. He was meant for me. He sat down at my presence and tilted his head at me. His tongue sticking out but his eyes watching me. Studying me. The guy who worked there told me he used to be some ex Marines dog. So he was well trained on certain commands. 

"i'm back!!" i yelled when i got back to my house. "that was quick," Belle said. "ooh what dog did you get? a cute little fuzzy dog?!" Tracy asked. i shook my head "nope i got this big guy" i said and My black beautiful pit bull came out from behind me. "whoa a pit bull!" Belle said. "oh my gosh he's so cute!" Tracy said.

she bend down to pet him. he growled. i looked at him. "danger it's okay, let her pet you, she's a friend" i told him. he got closer to Tracy and let her pet him. "hi danger oh my gosh you're so cute" Tracy cooes. i smile and laid down on my bean bag chair. Danger followed and laid down next to me.

when i got to work there were girl's everywhere circling someone. They were so loud, like a pack of hyenas. Doing my best to ignore them, i walk to the elevator. the doors were about to close when i hear. "hold the doors!" without thinking i put my hand out to stop the doors from closing.

The Lord has blessed my eyeballs. Some guy, 6'3 i believe, blueish greenish eyes sexy as hell, full pink lips and short brown hair. he is beautiful.

"oh my God" i whispered. "thank you i needed to get out of there quick" he smiles his perfect white teeth. i nod slowly and clear my throat "you're the one who's got the girls going crazy?"

he scratches the back of his neck embarrassed "yeah" he looked at me up and down. "i'm Ray Knight" he said and put's his hand out. i shook it slowly "Rachel Carter" so this is Mr.knight's brother.
