You stumbled through the doors of the school building and caught yourself before your shoelace could succeed with its assassination attempt. Shoelaces are so rude. You balanced yourself then bent down to quickly tie your shoes before getting back up again and proceeding to the courtyard.
Memories from last night popped up in your head and you stopped in your tracks, your face starting to heat up. Sans had told you last night that he loved you. Well, he loved Myst. Still though, if it hadn't been for that darn tree, maybe you and him would've... Stop. You shouldn't be thinking about this right before school.
You walked into the courtyard to see your friends talking excitedly over in their usual spot. Mettaton saw you there and grinned, rushing over to you with a look of pure glee. "Darling I finished your dress! Follow me and I'll get you it!" He grabbed your wrist and started dragging you towards where all the lockers were. You struggled to keep up since his long metal legs were no match for your fleshy ones. You both finally reached his locker and he opened it up to reveal a hanger with a black bag over it. He took out the hanger and handed it to you, the bag a bit heavy. "Go ahead! Look inside!" You did as he said and peeked inside the bag, seeing an exact replica of the dress you had drawn.
You grinned and gave Mettaton a hug, clutching the dress in your arms. "Thank you so much! I owe you!" He chuckled and released the hug. "Darling you don't owe me anything, I was happy to make such a beautiful dress for a beautiful girl." Your face heated slightly from his compliment and you smiled sheepishly. "Heh, thanks, but I'm not—"
You were cut off by the loud bell ringing throughout the halls, piercing you ears. Mettaton grabbed his bag from out of his locker and waved goodbye to you. "I'll see you at lunch darling! Ta-ta!" The pink robot called out before rushing to class. You took one last look at your dress before hurrying to your locker and putting it carefully inside. The dress that Mettaton had made truly was beautiful and you couldn't believe how exact the design had been. Even the details were detailed. You'd have to get him to redo your entire wardrobe. He'd probably be happy to.
You slung your bag over your shoulder and ran through the hallways and towards your math class. You made it inside just as the bell rang and sighed with relief, passing Sans and sitting down in the back of the class. Ms. Toriel smiled at everyone and picked up a dry erase marker, turning to the board. "Today class, we'll be reviewing what the distributive property is."

You swore your bag got heavier everyday as you walked into the lunchroom, your back sore from carrying so many books. Your locker was already filled to the brim as well so it's not like you can put them anywhere. Yay, highschool. You spotted your friends and sat down next to Frisk, plopping your bag on the ground next to you with a loud thud! You sighed and rested your head on the table for a minute before picking it back up as Undyne started to speak.
She grinned at everyone and rested her elbows on the table. "So, I'll come by and pick all of you up, say, around seven good?" Everyone nodded. "Alright then! Be ready by seven!" "do i have to dress up?" Papyrus looked at his brother in shock. "WHY OF COURSE YOU DO! NO BROTHER OF MINE IS GOING TO BE AT A FANCY DANCE WEARING A HOODIE AND SLIPPERS!" Sans groaned and folded his arms on the table before resting his skull in them. "but hoodies and slippers are comfy." "I DON'T CARE! METTATON WAS NICE ENOUGH TO GET US BOTH OUTFITS SO WERE GOING TO WEAR THEM!"
Mettaton made their outfits? You imagined Sans wearing a pink suit with a bunch of glitter and sequins all over it. You snorted. Hopefully that's what he was wearing because then this night was going to be great. Sans heard your snort and looked over at you with a non-existent eyebrow raised. "what's so funny?" You looked over at him and bit your lip to keep from smiling. "What kinda outfits did Metta get you both?" You asked, seeing Sans hesitate. "i'm not telling." "What? Why?" He gave you a look. "isn't it a human custom to not see or say what someone's wearing before prom?" "I'm pretty sure that's only for weddings." Sans shrugged. "same thing." You let out a laugh. "Sans, weddings and prom dances are anything but the same."
