You woke up to a dark house, the ashes in the fire giving off a dull glow and the only warmth coming from Sans who had his arms around you. Your eyes widened and your face flushed. SANS HAD HIS ARMS AROUND YOU. OH CRAP.

His skull was resting in the crook of your neck and you could feel his soft breaths brushing against your exposed skin. His arms were wrapped around your waist with a grip that clearly said he wasn't going to be letting go anytime soon. Your body curved in against his so that he was spooning you, your back pressing against his ribcage with the folds of his jacket slightly covering you. Your face burned as you took note of all this, your arms laying next to your chest.

You moved your arms and put your palms on the cushions, pushing yourself up into a sitting position with Sans' arms still around your waist. His skull had moved off your shoulder and was now resting on the cushions, a contented look on his face. "S-Sans?" You whispered, shaking his figure a bit. He groaned and nuzzled his face into your side, making your face blaze with blush. "five more minutes..." You heard him sleepily say, his husky voice making your face even worse. "S-Sans... can you let go of me at least?"

That got his attention.

His eye sockets shot open and took in the scene: his arms tightly around your waist, his face nuzzled into your side, and your flustered look. His face quickly matched yours as a blue blush covered his cheeks. He quickly let go of you, falling a bit back into the cushions making you laugh. "s-sorry! i didn't mean--" You cut him off with a sheepish chuckle. "It's fine, no harm done, right?" Sans looked at you for a second before smiling sheepishly. "right."

To be honest, you had actually kinda liked it. Not like you'd ever admit that. You rubbed your arm awkwardly before looking over at the clock, seeing that it was about six in the morning.

"We should continue on our way, we've already wasted one day down here." Sans nodded and got up off the couch. "yeah, i should be able to teleport us at least three times." You stood up and followed him out of the living room and towards stairs that led down to what you assumed was a basement. You walked down the stairs next to Sans and down the long hallway that led to a large door. Sans opened the door to reveal another hallway which you and Sans walked down as well to find yet another large door.

You had noticed the decrease in temperature as you made your way down, and when Sans opened the large purple door, you saw why.

"How the hell do you get snow down here!?" You asked, shock, confusion, and amazement in your voice. Sans chuckled at your reaction and walked out of the ruins with you next to him, letting the large door shut behind you both. "who knows, i never really thought about it." You gave him a look. "Now I know that's a lie." Sans shrugged with a grin on his face. "hey, it's called snowdin for a reason." So this was Snowdin. How... fitting.

You shivered from the cold since your bare arms were exposed from just wearing a tank top. You and Sans started on your way down a path through the woods, the cold winds blowing small gusts of snow on you both. Snowflakes were in your white hair and on your eyelashes, your eyes squinted from the wind. Soon, you and Sans came upon a cute little town with small shops and buildings. "Y-You said you l-lived here, r-right?" You asked, your teeth chattering. Sans noticed. "yeah, good thing too, follow me." He said before walking towards a large two-story house that looked similar to the one he and his brother lived in on the surface.

You followed him to the house and watched as he opened the door and walked in, motioning for you to wait outside. You leaned against the house while looking around Snowdin, your arms wrapping around your body to conserve warmth as best you could. A few minutes later and Sans finally returned with a blue jacket that looked like the one he was wearing in his hands. "here," He said before handing it to you. "T-Thank you." You slipped on the jacket and immediately felt warmer, the thick lining inside making you feel cozy.
