"Holy crap this place is gorgeous!" Frisk yelled, causing several people in the lobby to stare at her. Frisk wasn't wrong, the lobby itself was so beautiful that you were wondering what your hotel room looked like.

The carpet was a dark red with lighter red designs swirling around in the fabric and a huge glass chandelier hung above your head sending beams of light all over the room. The walls were a soft ivory with gold trim and designs over the paint. The staircase was a pearly white marble and didn't seem to have any speck of dirt or dust on it. There were potted shrubberies sitting by the huge glass doors that served as the entrance and exit to the hotel. The whole place looked like it belonged in a castle.

"I WANT TO GO SEE OUR ROOMS!" Papyrus said, starting up the staircase where it said the hotel's rooms would be. You all followed him and found half a dozen elevators in the short hallway instead of rooms themselves. "What's our room numbers?" Undyne asked, looking at her room key. "We'll b-be on the t-twenty s-second floor." Alphys said, pressing one of the elevator buttons to open the doors.

You all stepped into the elevator that was surprisingly big enough to fit all of you comfortably. Alphys pressed a button that had the number 22 on it and instantly the doors closed and the elevator was shooting up into the air. In less than a minute, the elevator doors were opening revealing a long fancy hallway that had about two dozen doors in it.

You all stepped off the elevator and started walking down the hall to find the rooms that you all would be staying in. It turns out, your rooms were right next to each other. "what time is it?" Sans asked. "Ten t-thirty eight." Alphys said, looking at her watch. "Well, since it's late and all, I guess we'll all see each other in the morning," You said, taking the key from Sans and opening the hotel door. "Goodnight darlings!" Mettaton said as he disappeared into the hotel room with Frisk and Papyrus behind him. Alphys and Undyne went into their own room while you and Sans stepped into yours.

"woah." Sans said, his eye sockets wide as he took in the hotel room. "Woah is right." You agreed, staring at the huge flatscreen TV and floor to ceiling window that had the most amazing view of the city you had ever seen. The kitchen had a huge silver fridge in it and a stainless steel countertop with the latest kitchen technology. The couch was a large five-person seat with soft grey fabric and yellow and white pillows. Through an open door, you could see the bedroom's King sized four poster bed with satin sheets that were too white for regular bed sheets.

You ran over to the fridge and hugged it. "I'm in love." You said dreamily, causing Sans to laugh. "what about me?" You turned towards him and stuck out your tongue. "This fridge has so much more personality then you'll ever have." Sans lost it and fell onto the countertop laughing. You were laughing too at the sight of Sans laughing and soon both of you were wheezing for breath.

"Let's go see the bedroom." You said, walking over to the open door and peeking in. "Wow, this is huge!" You said, gawking at the large bedroom. Sans appeared next to you with a smirk on his face. "that's what she said." You turned to him with an expression that said 'really?' and sighed while Sans started laughing again.

You rolled your eyes and walked into the bedroom, looking at the ivory walls with golden trim identical to the walls in the lobby. You plopped down onto the bed and lied down, feeling the bed sink next to you where Sans was also laying down. "This is nice." You said, turning your head to look over at Sans. "yeah," He turned to look at you as well.

You smiled and sat up, looking at the clock that was on the wall over the dresser. "I can sleep on the couch and you can sleep in the bed." You said, standing up to leave. "no no no i'll sleep on the couch," Sans argued, standing up and grabbing your wrist. "But--" "no buts, you get the bed." He let go of your wrist and walked back into the living room. "goodnight y/n!" Sans called through the wall. You shook your head and smiled, closing the bedroom door. "Goodnight Sans!"

You woke up to the sound of crying.

You rubbed your eyes groggily and sat up. You looked around the room for the source of the noise but noticed that it seemed to be coming from the living room. You yawned and got out of the four poster bed, walking over to the door and opening it up. You poked your head into the living room and your eyes landed on the couch where you saw Sans crying in his sleep while his left eye was glowing blue from underneath his eye socket.

Your eyes widened and you rushed over to his side, getting down on the floor and starting to shake him. "Sans, wake up!" You whisper-yelled, trying to shake him awake. He only shuddered and curled into a ball, repeating Papyrus' name over and over again. You were getting concerned now and shoved him so hard that he woke up with a start immediately.

He shot up with his eye burning a bright cyan color and stared at you with tears streaming down his face. "y/n?" Sans asked, his voice a bit shaky and confused. You embraced him in a hug quickly and got onto the couch, wrapping your arms around his body and hiding your face in the folds of his shirt. Sans hesitated before hugging you back. He started to cry again so you rubbed his back(?) and whispered comforting words to him.

"It's okay Sans, it was only a nightmare," You remembered how he kept repeating Papyrus' name as if he were watching his brother die. "Papyrus is safe." You added, leaning back onto the couch while you both clung to each other. Sans relaxed at your words and rested his head on your shoulder, closing his eye sockets and slowly letting his left eye go back to its normal white pin-pricks.

You both sat like that for a few more minuets when Sans broke the silence with a nervous laugh. "don't tell anybody about this, okay?" You pulled him closer -- if that's even possible now -- and grabbed the blanket that was on the couch. You wrapped it around the both of you and settled down into the couch.

"Okay, I won't tell anyone," You said as Sans settled down next to you. "But you have to tell me every time you get a nightmare, okay?" He nodded and gave you a thankful smile. "okay," You smiled back and kissed his cheek, causing a soft blue hue to cover his face. "Tomorrow, we'll get coffee then go to iHop," You say, starting to fall back to sleep. "Then, we'll spend the whole day together until the competition." Sans was starting to fall back to sleep too and smiled when you closed your eyes and drifted off. "sounds good." He brushed a strand of hair from your face and closed his eye sockets, falling asleep with you on the couch.
