After a lot of convincing my mom finally agreed. In the long run she knew it was a good idea because of the situation. So a couple days later I was temporally moving into his place. I willingly took the couch as my bed even though I was offered many times for me to take his room and have him sleep on the couch. I was already invading his personal space enough. I wasn't going to kick him out of his own room. Its later in the evening and I'm relaxing on the couch watching some TV. As I'm sitting there I see out of the corner of my eye, a wet haired Josh with towel wrapped around his waist. He walks into his room never noticing me. I sit there with a blank face. "This is going to be hard." I say to myself while falling backwards onto the couch.

Later that night its like 4 in the morning. And I'm having a nightmare. I'm wake up when I feel someone shaking me. I jolt up letting out a scream. I see its Josh and I try to catch my breath. He gives me a worried look. "Whats wrong?" I try to take my mind off the horrible dream I had long enough to answer him. "Nothing I'm fine. Why?" he grabs my hand. "Why? Because I woke up to the sound of you screaming bloody murder." I was screaming in my sleep? I can tell he's worried about me so I give him a hug. "I was just having a bad dream." I rest my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arm around me. "Are you okay?" I nod. "Yeah. I'm- fine. Don't worry about me. Go back to sleep." I'm trying to lie as best as possible so he won't worry. It was just a bad dream. I'll forget about it by tomorrow. I lay back down on the couch and he kisses my forehead. He walks back to his room and I fall back asleep.

I wake up later that morning to find Josh sitting on the ground leaning up against the couch. He's asleep. I kiss him on the cheek. He wakes up and rubs his eyes. I smile. "What are you doing in here?" he runs his hand through his hair. "I couldn't sleep after I heard you scream. So I sat in here and watched over you until I fell asleep without realizing it." he looked over at me. "What were you dreaming about last night?" I then recall the awful dream I had. "I don't remember. It doesn't matter anyways. It was just a dream."
