Me and you?

I wake up to find my hand still in his. He is asleep so I don't move in hopes that I won't wake him. The last time I looked at a clock was when I was at the park with Farkle. It was 4:20 then. I spot my phone on the night stand and slowly extend my arm to grab it. I click it on and it says 11:18 am. Wow. Its the next day. Everything was so crammed together that it still feels like the same day. I feel Josh release my hand and I turn to him. "Hey." he runs his fingers through his hair. "Hey." I scooch over and motion for him to sit on the bed. He does as told and sits next to me so that we're side by side. I look up at him. "What are we?" he smirks. "Well we're humans, teenagers, and now parents." I give a small laugh. "Not what I meant. What are we? You and me." he looks down at me. "Oh well that's easy. We're two people who fell in love without knowing it." I give a small smile but it fades. "What about-" he cuts me off. "Uh uh. There is no what about. I gave you up because I didn't want to hold you back. I thought that you deserved to date other people and not be stuck with me. But after I let you go couldn't stand the thought of you with anyone but me. I didn't want to date anyone but my friend surprised me that day with a 'blind date'. Then you came by and said the things that I didn't have the courage to say. But you left before I could explain." he grabs my hand. "Maya I am insanely in love with you. And I never not want you to be in my life." a warm smile spreads across my face. "I love you too Josh." he leans in and kisses me softly and I melt inside. I take in the moment as long as I can but sadly it ends. He pulls back and smiles big. I rest my head on his shoulder and he kisses the top of my head. I look up at him and I guess we both have the same thought because he leans in and kisses me again. Suddenly I remember why it was so easy to get into this situation with him.
