Taehyung was the last to get to bed, and he was the first one to rise from it. Unlike the previous day, his drama shooting was early in the morning and would end at around 4 pm. It was better because he could at least eat dinner with the members. Maybe he could even try and get them to walk in the park with him.
He was gone from the dorm by the time the others had woken up. He was silent in the car along with his manager as he worked hard to memorise his script.
He was going to try his best on a few things today once again;
1.) Work hard in the drama shoot
2.) Stay on his positive side
3.) Catch up on practice
4.) Eat dinner and persuade his members to spend quality time together
And most important of all,
5.) Hang in there and smile no matter how hard things get and how tired he gets for the sake of his beloved hyungs, Jiminie and Kookie.Taehyung was determined and filled with hope.
And so when the shooting ended, he excitedly looked forward into showering back at the dorm and meeting the boys at the practice studio. It had been from last night since they had last seen or talked to each other and Taehyung couldn't wait to do the normal things with them: give everyone random hugs, play with the maknae line, tease his hyungs and laugh together as a whole again.
Truthfully, he missed them. He missed them so much and so he tries his very best to hang in there for their sake. He loves them too, like a second family he would never have gotten with even just one of them out of the picture. Because of that, he tries his best to not let his loneliness and stress show. After all, he was the one who had auditioned for the drama. It's his problem, not theirs.
Taehyung was once again, looking forward to seeing them and talking to them.
But when he finally did see them, they were struggling to learn a new choreography that had been changed. That meant that he would go through a harder struggle trying to catch up.
Immediately, he joined them with a brief exchange of greetings then he was once again back to a stressful atmosphere.
By the time they were done, they were sweating profusely and it was already 10 pm.
Taehyung took five minutes. Just five minutes to regain his energy to be the happy-go-lucky kid that he is.
"Dinner!" Taehyung cheered.
Straightaway, the boys groaned. How can Taehyung have so much energy left in him? Little do they know, that in truth, the younger was on the verge of dying.
A wave of pain struck Taehyung once again.
They were going to reject the idea... Again.
"Taehyung-ah, there is still left over food at the dorm, the one we ate for lunch. It's still enough for the whole of us," Jin tried to smile.
"But hyung, you guys promised," Taehyung whined.
Like mentioned, this wasn't the first time. So how come it still hurt?
Nuisance. Taehyung had caught Jungkook looking at him like he was a nuisance.
The boy chose to ignore it though. Instead, he tried to understand.
'Of course they would be too tired to go out and eat. Too much energy and time would be taken if they did,' Taehyung told himself.
"Taehyung-ah," J-Hope was about to start but the younger's phone started to buzz.
Taehyung practically crawled towards where he had left his bag on the floor and hastily picked up the call.
"Ne," he kept nodding. "Ne. Gomabseubnida. Have a good night's sleep. Ne. I will. Ne. Gomabseubnida."
As it turned out, Taehyung was up for another shooting tomorrow, early in the morning as well.
It was supposed to be the boys' day off tomorrow and that was what J-Hope wanted to use as a reason for their rejection- that they could hang out all day tomorrow anyway.
When Taehyung hung up, he was pouting. By then, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jin, Namjoon and even Yoongi was looking at him for answers.
"I have-" Taehyung was interrupted by Jimin.
"It's okay, Tae Tae. We understand."
Although his best friend had offered him a smile, and the rest gave him a thumbs up, he didn't miss the glint of disappointment in their eyes.
Taehyung took that as a sign that the feeling of missing the times like this wasn't only one sided. They had missed him as much as he misses them too.
That was good enough for him. Hence, before long, the pouty and upset Taehyung was now back to his cheerful, tired self.
