An empty space.
There's nothing but darkness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was all over the internet. The whole scene was captured in video camera. From the moment the truck had hit the car to the very moment they drove a barely alive and bloody Taehyung away with an ambulance on its loudest hail.
The boys refused to watch it. Having the news broken to them already left them without air. They didn't need to add up to the weight on their hearts.
How could this happen? Today was supposed to be a great day. How could it turn a sharp u-turn to something so... so... horrible?
In the car ride, it was uncomfortably silent.
For Jungkook, Taehyung's shirt soaked with blood kept running through his mind and it took all in him not to cry.
What if his hyung's dead before they even reach the hospital. The thought made him sick. It made all of them sick. He can't have that. His hyung has to live! He still hadn't properly apologised to him so he has to live!
To Namjoon, as their leader, he felt helpless. He felt like he should be saying something to ease the others' worries but he couldn't. If he couldn't even calm his own thoughts down, how can he do that for them?
Jin felt like dying. He had already been beating himself up the whole day for not treating Taehyung better last night and now this was happening. Taehyung was actually holding on for dear life and he had left such hurtful words to him. What if all the things he had said last night was running through the younger's mind when the accident happened? Wouldn't that mean that such impulsive words might be the last words Taehyung would ever hear from him?
J-Hope... He had told the younger to read the atmosphere better. It was basically telling Taehyung to grow up. He might have implied to Taehyung that he thought of him as childish and immature when he actually found him to be the most uniquely matured in the group. For the past few days, there were so many things that went wrong that J-Hope planned to fix with Taehyung when the younger comes back home. But now this was happening. What if his Taehyung never gets to come back home? How can J-Hope fix things then?
Yoongi was extremely worried and scared. 'I swear, Taehyung! If you die on me tonight I'll hunt you down in the after life! Damn it, kid!'
He kept cursing himself in his head every time he recalled pushing the younger boy away. He had especially done that these past few days and he was going to make it up to the kid tonight like how the rest of them had planned but the kid had to have to get into a car accident. He knew it wasn't Taehyung's fault but the whole thing just made him feel bitter. What if it's too late? They should have planned this sooner rather than tonight! Yoongi might not have had to go through this situation if only they hadn't unconsciously neglected Taehyung in the first place. Normally, Yoongi would be the first to notice things but he was so caught up with their work that he had entirely forgotten about the well being of the one who was away from them the most.
Jimin probably felt the worst. He's Taehyung's best friend. His friend might have had thought that he didn't care about him anymore given the fact that Jimin had been pushing him away. Because really, who would know what Taehyung is thinking most of the time?
'Don't die on me, Tae Tae. You gotta live. We still haven't grown up to be fathers yet! You said you'd be my best man so you can't die just yet! Please! I'll eat with you, play with you, go wherever you want! Just please don't die! Please, don't leave me!'
