They did it again.
Like with Taehyung, they let their emotions get the best of them. They couldn't even deem it as a spur of the moment because it wasn't. It was far, far bigger and horrible than from just one moment. It was everything that had built up into a gigantic, enormous pile of messy angst. And they vented it all out on Namjoon... the one who had been shielding them. The one who had been distant lately. Of all people! The f***!
They just purely and blindly let it happen.
They didn't even realise what they were doing until their leader turned his back on them and left like his life depended on it.
Yoongi was so stunned that it took him several seconds to comprehend what exactly went down. And by the looks of it, the others were probably just as baffled as he was.
And so he was out on the streets, running, searching, and quite frankly, shouting for their leader under the most saddest outpour.
They should have known better- no, Yoongi should have known better. After everything, what with Tae and everybody else, he should have kept himself in check before he spouted those words.
Namjoon was the leader for goodness' sake! Their leader! And yet... They should have thought more clearly, without letting their striking emotions control them, before reacting like that. Heck, they basically accused Namjoon of something so absurd that it could have made all of them laugh any other day should someone suggest such a thing- "but no, Yoongi! You just decided to screw yourself over! Ten times at that! F*** my life!" Yoongi cursed under his breath as he turned a corner, panting and almost tripping over his own two feet.
He was feeling all sorts of emotions but what was overpowering the rest was fear. People could say all they want but even he was capable of showing fear (if his panic and desperation to find Namjoon wasn't enough as an indication). He feared he'd said too much, feared he'd hurt Namjoon far deeper than what he thought. Heck, he was afraid that the guy would think too much of the baseless accusations he had stated earlier. Shit, he insulted him. He disrespected him, the best leader Bangtan could ever have! What if that creates a fissure in their friendship? Even worse, what if that tears BTS apart? They've never said this enough but without Namjoon, there would be no BTS. Heck, Yoongi felt like they'd never showed the guy just how much they appreciate him.
And yet they gave him all these crap.
They f***ing drew Namjoon too close to the edge of a cliff that the younger had to literally run away from them!
Yoongi wouldn't know what to do if something bad happened to their leader. That was why even though he wasn't normally the type to run under the rain (or under any other weather, for that matter) when he'd pretty much rather live as a log, he did it. Heck, he volunteered! With all his effort and energy at that! He couldn't let the younger ones go, no matter how much they wanted to, and Yoongi couldn't exactly wait in the dorm when he knew he f***ed up.
"Shit, it's cold," he muttered under his breath as he turned another corner, turning his head from side to side to see if his leader was anywhere nearby. "Well, yeah, you dumb shit! You're running under the rain! The heck do you expect?!"
He stopped abruptly to catch his breath.
"Kim Namjoon, where the hell did you go? How come you're gone so fast?! I swear, when I find you, I'm gonna give you a piece of my mind for making me run so much like this! And in such a weather too!"
"But hyung, we kinda got ourselves into this so you can't really be serious," someone spoke from behind him and he swore he almost yelped in surprise.
