Britt I'm so glad you could make it," I heard my best friend Abby yelled from across the room. We headed towards each other and met in the middle.

"Oh my god I wouldn't miss a Chevy Metal show with you if my life depended on it," I said as we hugged. We worked our way up the the middle of the front of the stage. We finally reached the front and where standing next to a woman who was being really obnoxious. I couldn't wait to see the band play. It was my first time seeing Chevy Metal with my best friend who had the absolute hots for Taylor. She was practically a female version Taylor herself.

"So I overheard some girls over there saying Dave might be here," Abby said as we waited for the show to begin.

"Why would Dave Grohl be at a Chevy Metal show?" I asked. I'm sure it was just a rumor.

"Because it's Taylor duh!" Abby exclaimed. I looked at both sides of the stage in hopes that maybe those girls were right but I didn't see him anywhere. Just then the show started.

After Chevy Metal was done we headed to the bar to get drinks. I ordered us two jagers and we downed them. I turned around and started scanning the room again. I had occasionally looked around during the show to see if Dave was around but nothing. I was watching the crowd hover around the stage where Taylor and the guys were, taking pictures and signing autographs. I noticed Abby was leaning in talking to the bartender and I didn't want to know what kind of mischief she was creating. I kept my focus on Taylor. Taylor fucking Hawkins of the Foo Fighters was literally 15 feet away from me. I was star struck. This dude was number 2 on my list of top 5 drummers.

"Excuse me, did you buy this for me?" I heard someone ask and felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to look and stepped back a little surprised. Dave Grohl was standing right fucking there.

"Why?" I asked in return.

"The bartender handed me this and said the girl wearing the jeans and pink tank top bought it for me. You're wearing jeans and pink tank top," Dave replied. I looked at Abby and she winked at me while raising a shot. So this was what she was doing.

"I guess I did then," I said as I turned back to look at Dave.

"Well lets get you one so I don't have to take this alone. Matt get this girl a jager on me," Dave said to the bartender. He nodded at Dave and poured the shot. We clicked the shot glasses together and took them. I made a face as I put the shot glass back on the bar.

"Thank you. You didn't have to do that," I said as I noticed Abby head over towards the dance floor as the music started. I was left fending for myself as I noticed Taylor watching her.

"So what did you think of the show?" Dave asked me, snapping me back to the situation I was left in.

"Pretty awesome. It's been awhile since I've seen any live music so I'm happy either way," I replied after I finished my drink.

"Why wouldn't you go to as many shows as you could?" He asked and pointed at me as he looked at the bartender.

"Money issues. I'm saving up for a certain concert though," I replied as another jack and coke showed up beside me on the bar.

"What concert you saving up for? That's your by the way," Dave said when he saw me looking at it. I picked it up and took a sip. How was I suppose to tell Dave Grohl I was saving up for a Foo Fighters concert. Fuck it, I'm just gonna be bold and brave like Abby.

"Oh this band that you may have heard of called the Foo Fighters," I replied as I looked up at him through my eye lashes. He let out one of those laughs only Dave Grohl can do and I melt inside. That laugh. That smile. Those eyes. I unintentionally bite the side of my bottom lip.

"Well if I knew your name, I'd put you on the guest list for the next show we do," Dave said as his eyes looked me up and down.

"It's Brittany," I replied as I looked over to find Abby. I saw her talkign to Taylor against the wall. Dave followed my gaze and saw where I was looking.

"Wanna meet him?" Dave asked sounding kind of annoyed. I turned my head to look at him.

"I would but that's because he's Taylor Hawkins. My second favorite drummer ever," I replied.

"Whose number 1?" Dave asked as he stared into my eyes and I felt myself blush.

"You," I responded and then looked down at the floor.

"Well I'm flattered. Come on let's go save that poor girl," Dave said as he put his arm around my shoulders and we started walking over to Taylor. They weren't payign attention to anyone because they were so into their conversation.

"Yo Tay I'd like you to meet my friend Brittany," Dave said as Abby looked over at us. Taylor turned around to face us.

"Hey baby," Taylor said as he shook my hand. He smiled at me and I smiled back. I looked at Abby and mouthed "Sorry" to her. "Dave Brittany this is Abby." Dave and Abby shook hands. I became aware that Dave hadn't let go of me as his hand moved down my arm a bit, still holding me close to him.

"She's my best friend," Abby said as she pointed at me.

"Wait she was the one you wanted to keep an eye on?" Taylor asked Abby. Abby nodded her head yes as I let out a small giggle. All Night Long started playing and I couldn;t help but bob my head.

"I wanted to make sure she has some fun tongiht. She just got out of a relationship," Abby said. Taylor nodded in response and I could feel Dave staring at me. I didn't look up at him. I had been in a good relationship but when he proposed and I said no, eh didn't stay. I didn't blame him but I didn't want another failed marriage and he just wasn't the one.

"Hey so did Dave as I'm sure you've heard," Taylor added. I looked up at Dave as the chorus started.

"Wanna dance?" he asked.

"I'd love to," I replied and we made our way to the dance floor.

I didn't want to know or tell and I got the feeling he was the same. Why would we discuss our past relationships with compelte strangers. We danced for a couple of songs together before Taylor and Abby joined us on the floor. They danced close by but we didn't really notice. It was just me and him dancing, talking, laughing and drinking as we did. By the time we decided to stop, I almost couldn;t walk.

"Ok I got you. Yu're not use to drinkign alot are you?" Dave asked as he walked me back to the table we had gotten. Taylor and Abby where making out there and I covered my eyes so I wouldnt see.

"No but oh my god my eyes," I said.

"Hey Tay why don't we take them back to ym place for some drinks," Dave said. Taylor moved away from Abby and stood up.

"Sounds like a good plan to me," Taylor said as I uncovered my eyes.

"Yu ok with coming back to my place ladies?" he asked both Abby and I.

"Fuck ya," Abby said as she stood up. Taylor and her walked up to the bar as Dave looked at me.

"What about you?" he asked. I couldn't believe what I was about to say.

"Why not," I replied with a shrug. He put an arm around my waist and we headed to the bar to pay.

"Yo Matt. Whatever she got put it on mine," Dave said to the bartender as he was waiting for Taylor to finish paying at the other end of the bar. I leaned into Dave as the alcohol was affecting my balance. Matt the bartender then walked voer and Dave handed him his credit card. Next thing I knew we were pulling up to Dave's house.
