2 Weeks Later

I was in the kitchen making cookies for the girls coming over this weekend when Dave came into the kitchen.

"Have fun with Abby today. I'll be home whenever," He said before he kissed me quickly.

"Ok babe. Go rock your socks off," I replied.

"Will do. I love you," he said as he started walking out of the kitchen. New York Girls by Morningwood started playing.

"Oh I love morningwood," I said getting excited and dancign to the song. I noticed Dave came back into the kitchen.

"Excuse me but that sounded wrong" he said, confused.

"The band is called Morningwood but I do love what your thinking about too," I replied with a smile.

"Oh I know you do. Did you hear what I said though?" he asked and I just stared at him confused.

"Maybe maybe not," I replied.

"I said I love you," he said as he walked back over to me.

"Oh well I love you too. Hey those are for the girls," I said as he took one of the already made cookies.

"Mine now. Later babe," Dave said before kissing me on the cheek. He took another cookie and then walked away. Abby showed up as I was waiting for the last tray of cookies to finish baking.

"What are we doing again today?" Abby asked as we walked into the ktichen. She took a cookie off the rack and started eating it.

"Get one while you can because I'm sure Dave will eat them all tonight. I have a wardrobe fitting for the last episode of the season. You can not tell Dave anything about it because I don't need him freaking out and thinking his girlfriend of 2 months is a crazy psycho bitch," I replied.

"Why would he think that?" she asked slightly confused as she took another cookie.

"Because I have to get fitted into a wedding dress today," I said as the oven went off. I took the cookies out and put them on the cooling rack.

"Your character is getting married on the show?" Abby asked getting excited.

"Maybe. I know I'm suppose to but if it happens or not, I can't tell you," I lied. I knew but I couldn't tell her.

"Sounds dramatic. We should take some of these to the guys at the studio and then make more cookies later. You know you're just gonna make more anyways," Abby replied as she took another one.

"We'll drop them off before my fitting. No mention of a wedding dress at all to Dave promise," I said and held out my pinky. She wrapped her pinky around mine and we shook on it.

"Go change out of your pjs and brush your hair. You don't need to look like you did nothing but have sex before Dave left," Abby said as she pushed me towards the stairs. I went and changed into a dress and brushed my hair and teeth before going back downstairs. Abby was sitting at the bottom with a container of cookies for the guys.

"Ready Freddie?" I asked her as I stepped past her and grabbed my purse and phone from the counter.

"You bet. Let's go give or men some cookies," she said as she stood up. We headed out to her car and I took the cookies from her and got in the passenger seat. We drove to 606 and I texted Dave to tell him we were coming with cookies. When we pulled up him and Pat were outside smoking. I got out of the car and walked over to Dave and kissed his cheek.

"Working hard or hardly working?" I asked as Abby got out and joined us.

"Hardly working right now. We're waiting on Nate. He's waiting for his wife to get home so she can take the little one off his hands," Dave replied.
