8 Weeks Later - Feb 2/18

8 Months - James

4 Months - Olivia

After Dave had left, me and a few other girls on the set complained about Brian. While over the two week Christmas break, I got a text from the director of the movie and he said they ahd a new Elvis. He also said our last five weeks in Vancouver would be doing reshoots. I was over the moon happy that Brian was gone but I still felt bad for him. Oh well it was his own fault. I met the new guy Greg and he seemed a lot nicer. When we met I told him I was seeing Dave and he said he had a girlfriend himself so things would be professional. I was a little relieved and went home that day to tell Dave he wouldn't have to break any hands. Today we were finally leaving Vancouver for good. Dave was back in La waiting for us to get home after spending a week with the girls. He also spent it with Jordyn and both their lawyers. We got one week off at home together and than James and I were going on the road for a week. We were in the car on the way to the airport and Virginia was reading while I made funny faces at James.

"I bet you can't wait to see your daddy huh? Mama can't wait to see him either. It's only been two weeks but mama misses daddy," I said as James gurgled at me.

"It'll only be a few hours dear," Ginnie said as we pulled into the airport.

I said I know and smiled at her as we kept driving past the airport and went through a gate on the side. This was odd but I figured maybe we were going with the crew. We got out of the car and headed up the stairs to the plane that the car had stopped in front of. I walked in after Virginia and started buckling James up. When I was finished I looked up and was surprised to see Dave coming out of the back.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I walked over to him.

"I'm surprising my girl. Hi mom," Dave said as we hugged.

"Hi sweetie," Virginia said back as we let go of each other. Dave then walked over and hugged her. He then turned his attention James.

"Holy crap you got bigger. Stop growing little man," Dave said as he leaned down and kissed his forehead.

"Don't I get one of those?" I asked. Dave stood back up straight and walked over to me.

"Of course you do. Hi beautiful," Dave said as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Hey handsome," I said as he leaned in. Then our lips met and everything felt right again.

"We're cleared for take off sir if you and the lady want to take your seats please," the pilot said as he poked his head out of the cockpit.

"Ok we'll sit down in 30 seconds," Dave replied and then gave me another quick kiss.

We sat down and buckled in. I closed my eyes and tapped my knees as we started pulling away. I hated flying. Dave grabbed my hand and gave it a squeeze as we started down the runway. I was glad he was there at that moment. After take off and the pilot said we could take our seatbelts off we switched around so that Dave and his mom where sitting side by side and I was sitting across from them with James. Dave pulled out a manila envelope and put on the table between us. I just looked at it before I gave him a confused look.

"Open it," Dave said and nodded his head up once. I put James back in his car seat and picked up the envelope after buckling him in. I opened it and pulled out the papers. I looked at it and realized it was his divorce papers.

"Why would you give me these?" I asked as I looked at him.

"There's more in the envelope," Dave responded with. I held my hand out and my engagement ring fell out of the envelope. I looked up at him and smiled.
