1 Month Later - May 1st

Britt - 35 Weeks

Abby - 18 Weeks

"When are you guys coming home? I miss you boo," Abby said into the phone.

"Soon. We're staying out here the rest of the week then coming home when we drop the girls off," I replied.

"Good. I can't wait for you to see the nursery. How was going home for a few days?" Abby asked.

"It was ok. My step dad had somethings set aside for me in case I wanted them. I took them and the rest of my stuff. I think Dave sent Taylor the boxes because we're not going to be at the house for another week," I replied.

"I'll let you know when they get here. Text me more often damn it. All I get is what Taylor gets from Dave and you know how those two are," Abby sighed and I giggled a bit.

"I will. We'll go for lunch and shopping when I get home. You know you could always drive your ass to Malibu and come see me," I said as I got up off the couch and walked outside onto the balcony.

"No it's yours and Dave's baby moon. I don't need to be a pest and ruin your alone time. Where is that man anyways?"

"Believe it or not he's reading a book on the beach," I said as I saw Dave out in the distance.

"Is he in just his swim trunks?" Abby said. I pulled the phone away from my ear and gave it a look before putting it back to my ear.

"Dream about your own man in swim trunks," I replied back with and we both laughed. Dave looked behind him and waved. He must of heard me laugh so I waved back.

"He wears nothing but swim trunks all the time. All I have to do is pull those trunks down and go to town if I wanted to," she said and I laughed again.

"Well go do it then. I'm going to go join my man on the beach," I said in response.

We said goodbye to each other and I headed back inside. I put my phone on the coffee table and headed upstairs to get into my bikini. I grabbed a blanket and headed back downstairs. I grabbed a water bottle and a beer from the fridge and headed outside. I walked down to the porch and then of onto the sand towards Dave. I stopped when I got beside him and he looked up.

"How was your nap?" Dave asked as I handed him the beer.

"It was ok. I got woken up by Abby calling me. Told her we'd be home this weekend," I replied as I put the blanket out and sat down.

"You want the chair babe? I can sit on the blanket if you want," Dave said and I shook my head no.

"I'm fine. I wish we didn't have to go back yet," I said as Dave put his book down.

"We can stay another two weeks if you want to. I don't have anything planned and we still have 5 weeks before our little guy joins us. Any word if Taylor got those boxes yet?" Dave asked.

"No and we have to go back. The girls are almost done school and I have stuff to do to get ready for him. We need to stop changing his name and just pick one. I need diapers like lots of them. We need like a million of those things," I said as I leaned back on my hands and stretched out my feet.

"You're a very confusing woman these days. You just said you wish we didn't have to leave and then I say we can stay an extra two weeks and you say no. Are you still playing around with the three orginal names?" Dave asked as he got up out of the chair and sat behind me.

"Ya. I really want James for the first name now. I wish I could just pick one," I said as Dave started massaging my shoulders and neck.

"Sounds like you already did. Now are we going with Taylor Eric or Eric Taylor?" Dave asked as I moved back a bit so I could use him for support.

"You pick. I'm letting you decide everything for the next 5 weeks. Jesus take the frigging wheel," I said and put my hands in the air. Dave laughed as I put my hands on my belly.

"James Eric Taylor because I know you don't like James Taylor," Dave said and I giggled. Dave let go of my shoulder and put his hands on my belly and he rested his chin on my shoulder.

"Done. No more changing. Have you gone into the water yet?" I asked as Dave kissed my shoulder.

"I have and it's nice. Thinking about going for a swim? Not scared Jaws is out there," Dave asked teasingly. I chuckled a bit before I started getting up. Dave got up and helped me the rest of the way.

"Don't tease me because I'm scared of getting eaten by a shark. Shit happens everyday and if you haven't noticed, I'm the size of a house so I'm an easy target. But to answer your other question, yes I am," I replied as I started walking towards the water. I walked into the water and stopped when it got to the bottom of my bump. Dave ran in beside me and dove under. When he came back up, he turned around and smiled at me.

"Babe I was kidding about jaws. Come out here," Dave said as I stood there.

"I know you were but I'm not sure what's going to happen once he's under the water," I said back. Dave swam a bit before he started walking over to me.

"You will float. Take my hands and we'll do it together," Dave responded with. He held his hands out for me and I took them. He started walking backwards and I followed him. Once my bump was under the water, Dave let go of one of my hands and pulled me out a bit more. I let go of his hand and pushed myself back until I could stand on my feet.

"What are you doing?" Dave asked as he swam out a bit more.

"Standing on my feet so I can do this," I said before I dove under the water. When I came back up I was beside Dave.

"I told you that you'd float," Dave said as I threaded water.

"I'm moving my feet and arms. If I wasn't as big as a whale I'd suggest having some fun while we were out here," I responded with.

"Maybe we'll come back out here after James is born. You like it out here don't you," Dave asked as he pulled me closer to him.

"Of course I do. It's the beach and the water and I love the waves. Why are you asking this? Don't go doing something stupid please," I said as I gave him a look.

"We can have two houses if we want. You like it here and we can come and escape whenever we want. The girls love it here too and we'd be able to bring them whenever we wanted. I think we should do it," Dave responded with. I had a feeling he already did the something stupid.

"Fine we can do whatever you want," I said and swam away from him.

"Good cause I already bought it," Dave said before he started swimming after me. We were both back on the shore when I turned around to look at him.

"I figured you already did the something stupid. I'm kind of glad you did it. I do really like it here. I always wanted to be close to the beach," I said as we walked walk to the blanket and the chair. Dave sat down on the blanket so I sat in the chair.

"It can be our home away from home. I like it here. You seem more relaxed out here but then again you've barely left the house since we got here," Dave said as he grabbed his hat and put it back on.

"You know why. I get followed now because of the show and you and that's an adjustment itself. It's just stressful with the baby. You heard the doctor babe. No added stress," I said back.

"I know exactly what the doctor said. You're technically not suppose to be out here or swimming," Dave replied with.

"I can have one day of fun. I may pay for it but if he comes now he'll make it. If you're worried we can go inside and do what we do everyday when you don't go off to meetings or random shows," I said.

"Couch or bed?" Dave asked.

"Bed of course. There's more room to move around and cuddle," I replied and winked at him. Dave stood up and grabbed the blanket before helping me up. He grabbed the chair and his book and we headed back inside to watch movies and "cuddle" in bed.
