The Next Day

I woke up when my alarm went off and I sat up as Dave rolled over to face me. We said good morning and we kissed before I got out of bed and went to shower. I blow dried my hair and got dressed before Dave came back with coffee and James.

"Oh please tell me that coffee is for me?" I asked as he put James down on the bed.

"It is. Mom says she'll stay here this morning. She says she could do with some more sleep because he kept her up last night and that she'll meet us after you get off,' Dave replied as he gave me the coffee. I gave him a kiss and then turned my attention to James. I put my coffee on the night table after taking a sip and the leaned over James.

"You got to stop keeping grandma up at night. Hey I'm up here not over there," I said and then turned my head to look at Dave who was making funny faces at him. "Daddy's being a goofball again I see. Babe the car is going to be here in 40 minutes. Go shower if you're going to shower please?" I asked sweetly.

"Alright. I can make funny faces later. I'll be done in like 10 minutes," Dave said as he put his hair into a ponytail and went into the bathroom.

I sat down on the bed and put James in my lap before I opened my laptop and put on Imagination Movers. James loved the show because of the music and the little mouse. The guys on it were kind of cute so it was a win win for both of us. Dave came out in just a towel and I covered James's eyes which made Dave laugh. Dave got dressed and then came back with a cup of coffee and we finished the episode and our coffees. When I got the call saying the car was here, we got James ready and headed down to the car. When we got to set, we went straight to my trailer and was greeted by my assistant on this movie Kim.

"Good morning Brittany. Oh my god he's with you," Kimmy exclaimed when she saw Dave.

"Yes he is. Dave this is Kim. She keeps me caffeinated and rescues me from Brian when he flirts with me," I said as he closed the door.

"He's such a creep. It's nice to meet you," Kimmy said to Dave as they shook hands.

"Nice to meet you too Kimmy. Hopefully she doesn't keep you running around too much," Dave responded with as he sat down. He took James out of the car seat while I sat down in the chair by the mirror.

"She's no Brian. Your wardrobe for today is in the closet, coffee and breakfast sandwich is on the counter behind you. Jessica will be in shortly to do your hair and Michelle will be here after to do your make up. I will get the little guy a bottle and some cheerios and before I forget can I get you anything Dave?" Kimmy asked.

"Black coffee and a muffin please," Dave replied. Kimmy nodded and then left.

"Well you just made her day," I said with a giggle as Dave held James on his lap.

"I tend to do that for most people. What are they going to do with your hair?" Dave asked.

"Ponytail then a wig cap thingy and then my glorious black wig," I replied with a smile.

"Ooo can't wait to see you with black hair," Dave said back with a wink.

"Keep those thoughts for later. Maybe we can take a wig home," I said as Jessica came into my trailer.

"Do I want to know why you want a wig to take home?" she asked as I sipped my coffee.

"I want to do very dirty things to her before I go back to work tomorrow," Dave replied.

Jessica turned to look over and just blinked a few times before introducing herself. They shook hands while I tried not to laugh. She did my hair while I ate my breakfast sandwich and went over the few lines I had today. When Kimmy returned she was accompanied by Michelle and they sat and talked with Dave until Jessica was done. Jessica left and Michelle started on my make up. Kimmy left when she got an angry text from Brian and said she'd be back when they needed me. When Michelle left I turned around to face Dave and James.
