15 Weeks and 2 Days Later - September 7, 2019

Over the next fifteen weeks I finished season 3 of the show, did some press and went to Memphis to finish the movie. Dave came with me for the four weeks so that I wouldn't have to worry about James. We shot an extra two weeks in LA as well and then we were wrapped. I was relieved to have more time off but It was soon spent helping Abby finalize the wedding. Dave and I were dating and living together but sleeping in separate rooms. We were staying in separate rooms because we where mainly just living together right now for James. Dave and the guys were going to start working on a new album once Taylor and Abby came back from their honeymoon. Today was the wedding and I was staying at the house to get ready. Since the wedding was in Malibu we had all moved to the beach house for the weekend. Dave had his hands full with Taylor so I was in charge of making sure all the kids were ready on time. I was finishing my make up when the girls walked in.

"Hey girls don't you look nice," I said before picking up my curling iron. They all smiled and said thank you.

"Dad needs your help whenever you're done," Violet said as she started going through my make up.

"Ya James and Uncle Taylor are driving him nuts," Ophelia added as her and Harper sat down behind me.

"I'll go see them once I'm done my hair. Did you girls eat yet?" I asked as I curled my hair.

"Uh huh. Uncle Taylor made us cereal," Harper replied.

"Britt I need help," I heard Dave yell from downstairs. I told the girls to go do something until it was time to go and then went off in search of Dave. I found him in the living room with a pacing Taylor and James in nothing but a diaper.

"What do you need help with?" I asked as I watched Taylor go back and forth for a few times.

"I either need you to get James dressed, calm his ass down or at least watch both of them for a bit," Dave replied as he turned to look at me.

"Go for a smoke. I got this," I said. Dave got up and ran around the couch to me. He gave me a kiss and then headed out back.

"How much time do I have before I need to be like 100 percent ready?" Taylor asked. He stopped pacing as I walked over to James.

"Why?" I asked.

"I need to go for a bike ride to calm down. I just need to get out for a bit. Don't give me that look. I'm not going to miss my wedding. I'll be an hour tops and then I just need to shower and get dressed," Taylor said. I looked at the clock and saw we had an hour and a half before we needed to be at the church.

"You can be showered and dressed in 30 minutes?" I asked and he nodded. "Ok go but be fast. Dave's bike is in the garage but tell him before you go."

"Thanks Britt," Taylor said and then ran outside to tell Dave. I started trying to get James dressed but when Dave came back in, James ran away.

"Thanks babe. Having any luck with him?" Dave asked as James stuck his tongue out at me.

"No. James Eric Taylor Grohl get over here right now," I said. James ran over to Dave and hid behind him.

"Come on buddy. You can't go to your aunt and uncle's wedding in a diaper," Dave said.

"But you and mama aren't dressed," James protested as Dave picked him up.

"That's because I was making sure you and your sisters were dressed first. Your mom was getting ready when I told her to come help me," Dave said back.

"Will you get dressed if I get dressed?" I asked James and he nodded. I then headed upstairs and put my dress on before coming back down. When James saw me he smiled, ran over to me and hugged my legs.
