Teasing You

****Luke***

Jessica kissed me , which took me by surprise . I went into my car smiling like an idiot . What is she doing to me .
I went back to my house to go and fix the dinner table back to the way it was .
When I got back home , I saw that my whole family was in my house for some reason that I didn't know about .

I didn't know what to do or what to say . Instead Sophie spoke and said, "Luke , I don't care who you went on a  date with but just make sure this whole date was for Jessica ".
"No actually , it is Jessica because , if it wasn't then you won't have done this whole dinner thing here ," Xavier said and he was correct. 

I still haven't said anything when Sophie said excitedly ,"Did you really have dinner with Jessica ?".

All I said to get out of this whole confession conversation was "Goodnight ," I said and then I ran up the stairs and closed my door .
I am never going to hear the end of this .

******Jessica******
*The Next Morning *

Sophie called me the next morning .
"Morning Soph ," I said.
"Morning Jess ," She said.
"Jess , can I ask you a question ?" She asked me.
"Sure ," I said.
"Did you have a dinner date with Luke last night ?" She asked me .

I thought Luke said no one was home .
I couldn't lie to her since she is my best friend so I told her the truth .
"Yeah ,"  I said with excitement in my tone and I couldn't help but smile about last night .

"Jessica he did that all for you . I knew it because he didn't say anything cause he knew we were right ," Sophie said with excitement in her voice.
"I guess so ," I said .
"So how was it ?" She asked me 
"It was amazing ," I said.
"Aww ," Sophie said.
"Luke ! " Soph said as she screamed to Luke but not to me .
"Ugh !  What do you want . If you want to tease me go right ahead ," I heard Luke say .

"But it's not fun when you know I am going to tease you ," Sophie said to Luke.

I couldn't help but over hear there conversation . Xavier came out of nowhere and said  to the phone .
"You guys should just become a couple already ".

"You know , you don't need to talk to the phone to me ," I heard Luke say.
"I know , but I wanted Jessica to hear," Xavier said.
"What ! " I heard Luke say.

Then I heard shouting and fighting and somehow someone ended the call .
They really didn't need to tease Luke  about going on date with me .
