***Liam 's Birthday ***

Today is my birthday and I can't wait for the great things that may happen to me . I got out of my bed and did my morning stuff and went downstairs to see my mom and dad in the  kitchen holding a cake .

"Happy birthday Liam ," My mom and dad said and then my uncles , aunts and my grandparents came out of nowhere. 

"Thanks guys ," I said .
"Blow it out ," My mom said.
I made a wish and blew it out .
"Yayy ," Everyone said .
I ate my cake then I went  to open my   presents and then my dad gave me a letter .

"What's this ?" I asked him.
"Open it ," He said.
"Okay ," I said.
I opened the letter and read it and I jumped up and screamed .
"Are you for real ?" I asked my dad.
"Yeah ," My dad said.
"What is it ?" Aunt Soph asked.
"Dad gave me the company ," I said .

"You are going to own it when you are 20 ," My dad said.
"But I still own something right ?" I asked him.
"Nope . It says you will one day own  the company ," My dad said.
"Thanks for letting me think that I was richer than you for a while ," I said.

"Don't say anything ," My mom said as my dad wanted to say something after I said that .
The rest of the day was great but I still felt really sad because Liz was not here . And I also felt really angry at her too because she forgot about my birthday .

I tried calling her on my phone and on  Skype , but she didn't answer .
I went to my room and stayed in there after they gave me my presents . I tried to be happy , but I couldn't .

***The Next Day ***

I came downstairs to get breakfast . I saw that my dad was in the kitchen ,  alone  . When I walked in , I said,"Morning dad ".
"Morning Liam ," My dad said.
"Where's mom ?" I asked.
"She went to get some things from the store . Here ," My dad said.

He gave me my breakfast and after a while he noticed that I had not touched my food since he gave it to me .
He asked me ,"What's wrong ?".
"Nothing ," I said in denial .
"Something is bothering you ," My dad said.
I let out a sigh and he asked me again,"What is it ?".

"It's Liz.  She forgot about me . She hasn't called me at all since she left from here the day after the wedding ," I said.
He let out a frustrated sigh and said,"Liam , I cant believe I am saying this but you can use my jet to go see why she hasn't called you ".

I jumped up in happiness and asked ,"Really ?".
"Yes , but do not stay for extra days ," My dad said.
"Okay ," I said.
I went up to my room and grabbed the things I needed and headed out .

**Australia **

I knocked on her door and her father answered it.  He said that I can come in . Liz is upstairs .
I went to her room and knocked on the door .
"Come in ," Kat said.
I opened the door and I saw two of them on Liz 's bed .

I didn't see Liz or Alex  and then Kat and Emily made a coughing sound and that made something suck apart. 
I saw that they watched at something else other than me and Kat didn't want to make this even more awkward she said .

"Liz , Liam is here ," Kat said. 
She came outside her door and she  closed it .
"Hey Liam ," Liz said .
"Hey ," I said.
"What ? " Liz asked .
"Did you forgot something ?" I asked Liz.
"Um no ," She said.

"So you don't know ?" I asked her.
She still looked confused. 
"Liz , yesterday was my birthday ," I said .
"It was ?" Liz asked me and I nodded .
"I'm so sorry Liam . I forgot.  I am the worst ," Liz said. 
I coud tell she wanted to say something else but she didn't .

"It'a okay . I tried to enjoy my day but you weren't there to make it more memorable ," I said .
"I'm  so sorry Liam ," Liz said apologizing. 
"It's okay ," I said. 
"So what do you want to do while I'm  here ?" I asked her.

"Uh , I didn't know . Anything you desire ," Liz said.
"Okay . All I want is spend time with you ," I said.
"But what about Emily , Kat and Alex ?" Liz asked me.
"We can leave them here and go downstairs and watch some movies ," I said .
"Okay ," Liz said.

***Hours Later ***

Things have been going really badly since we went downstairs to watch movies. The things we use to do as a couple , Liz doesn't want to do them again .

It's like if she is afraid of hurting someone else .
At this point , Liz is on a diiffrent couch , watching the movie .
She has been giving me glances and this is starting to bother me. 
After a while , her friends came downstairs and saw us and said,"Sorry , we thought you guys left," Emily said .
"Its okay " Liz said .
She got up from the couch and just watched her friends.
I got up and said ,"Well I better head home now ".

"Can't you stay ," Emily said instead of Liz which made me sad .
"I can't. My dad gave me a time to come back.  Speaking of him ," I said as I pulled out my phone as he was calling me.
When I finished the call I said ,"I was suppose to be on his jet an hour ago .

"Okay ," Emily said .
I got my things and left . Liz came outside to see me off and said nothing "Bye Liz ," I said .
She just waved me a goodbye. 
Then I left , thinking that this will be the last time I see Liz as my girlfriend because she is acting strange .
